It was marginal whether to send these light back. It has been impossible to get either light to hang squarely with the ceiling which casts uneven shafts od]f light in the room. One light was very difficult to assemble as the screw thread at the bottom was so tight we had to use pliers and a spanner to release it. As I am 83 years old I could not install these lights myself but rather than having to get help to replace them i decided to live with them. These light are poorly engineered and the mountings not well designed yet they are costly/ I hope that i will be compensated for this!

Look more expensive than they actually are. Needs two people to put them up, not too hard though! One star off for lamp specifications (only up to 4 Watts each). Could have done with a bit more illumination.

Absolutely fabulous. Really classy, but unfortunately I will be returning the light as I can’t find anything to go with the antique brass. M & S appear to have discontinued the small gem ball lights & the larger ones are just too big. I would have loved to have been able to keep it.
