Floral Twill Skirt

I like this skirt very much, it will make my Christmas outfit with a shaggy black jumper; will make a change from plain colours. My only grouch is that the elastic waist is a bit big and loose.

Loved the skirt, fabric was comfortable. On the size 18 it was a little too generous, changed it for a 16 and although it was what I wanted, the seams did not sit flat on the hips making it a little bulky there - not a good look. Shame - it had to go back. Will keep looking.

The skirt itself is fine, material a little stiff but for me the pretty black pattern just did not go with the colour of the background. Sadly had to return.

I always read your savvy ladies' reviews before buying. When i opened up the package for this skirt i thought uh oh, i wasn't sure if it was for me. When i tried it on i found it to be very nice indeed. The colours are vibrant & has been pointed out will match so many coloured tops. The fit is lovely it skims the hips & goes down to a slight A shape. I think this a lovely style & has a texture to the material. It was slightly longer than the 33 inch i ordered, but that was a bonus for me being 5feet 8inches tall. I am delighted with it, so thank you reviewers without which i wouldn't have given this a try. I do hope M&S we soon see the longer skirts we taller gals long for.

I found the camel background made the skirt look rather dull. The panel seams wouldn't lie flat and added inches around the hips. My 30" length didn't have enough fullness around the knees and the whole skirt was a stiff shape. Perhaps others will have more luck. I don't know what the material was made from as M&S seem to have dropped full product information and may well have more returns as a result.

This is another of those skirts that ends up being great value as it is so very wearable. Loved the design and the colours look very classy, good weight of a very nice fabric that hangs well. Sizing slightly generous so may well be possible to size down - shape is nice and flattering, works well with most plain tops including blouses. Aunty bought this and is now on the lookout for a nice red blouse with the thought of wearing at Christmas. Aunty bought the 30" and I tried on the 33" for myself and was quite impressed by how well it looked.
