Very practical coat
Very practicable super lightweight but surprisingly warm coat which packs into its own small bag and could function as a good travel pillow. The showerproofing is good. Really pleased with it.

Very poor performance for price , not very warm, The feathers come out all the time and I have to pick them off my clothing after every wear. I have many M & S coats and love them to bits .

Great coat very light weight great for going in and out of car without getting to warm, I had the shorter version of this coat before but this one is much better highly recommended, would say sizing is a bit small so go up a size especially if you want to wear a cosy jumper under it.

I bought this coat because I was going to Poland for Xmas and it is usually a bit colder there ( about -3C) .tThe coat is very light , convenient to pack in the pouch and I could wrap it round my waist at the airport which was great.However it is not warm enough for feather and down and for the price of £100! I had M&S long sleeve thermal vest on ( excellent) plus two other layers plus the coat and it was just about right ( but not too warm) .Also the knee length means that your shins get cold.It works well for me as an everyday walking coat in current weather but definitely not for colder climes!

If you want a warmish coat that won't make you melt while you're shopping (but may not cope with a New Year's Day walk along a Norfolk beach to look at the seals), then this ticks all the boxes. However, I am 5'7" (tall but not that tall) and the sleeves are way too short! This means that the sleeves of my cardigan stick out of the bottom, not quite the look I was hoping for (and makes me wonder how on earth they got the photograph of the model looking like that - surely it can't be the same coat? Or did I just get a defective one?

Fab coat. Very warm and feels so light. I would say it runs small and narrow. I’m petite and usually a size 10 petite. However this size was far too tight. Re ordered the size 12 regular and it’s a perfect fit for me.

I bought it because I already had a shorter version of this coat which I liked a lot. I really like the longer one as well and I would call it ideal if they stitched the inside pocket (which the shorter version had) so that I could use it. Otherwise, it is light, warm and sits well on me. The hood it great - it does not fall down when blown by the wind.

I had to size up for this as it's not only a more fitted style than some puffers but also very narrow across the shoulders so a thick jumper would be impossible. And you might need a thick jumper because it's not super-warm. However, it's very light to wear or to carry and folds up small. Very good for coldish weather but maybe not for standing on the touchline for an hour.
