I bought these slippers as an online order so could only go by the photo. they seemed to be what I was looking for, warm covering extending back quite a way, but with no solid bit at the back, and a dark colour not a light one which would show any marks too soon. I like the colour very much, burgundy. the only issue is which is why I give 4 stars not 5 is that when walking any distance they seem to move away from the toes. maybe this is the way they fit me. I wanted a tight fit which these are as my previous slippers (not M and S) the same design but a grey colour, became baggy very quickly and had to be replaced. only time will tell if these slippers go the same way

Bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She absolutely loves them. So comfortable. Bought size 5, her normal size. On first trying them on, they seemed a little small, but after a little while your feet sink into them, so I would advise getting your normal shoe size.
