I was recommended this wine at Christmas and found it to be a lovely light translucent red as I do not like the heavy reds. Unfortunately I have not been able to get it in store so was very pleased to find it online

S. A. Grenache or Spanish Garnacha ?
I purchased a case of this wine as a birthday gift for my daughter in law, after reading about it in a news letter from M&S. Fred Sirieix, and I assumed that he had made the very positive comment about the Expressions Grenache from the Swartland area in South Africa. So I ordered a case for my daughter in law. I did not take a closer look at the label on the bottles I ordered. Turns out that was an Expressions Garnacha from Spain. However, happily the Spanish product was declared excellent, so all is well that ends well. It is a very pleasant wine, which I would be happy to purchase again !!! Great choice !! ( Next time, however, I will ensure that it is the South African product !! )
