Bought this on behalf of my mum and she loves it. Nice colours sort of peacock blues and lilacs being predominate. Nice weight for the winter without being too heavy. Lovely soft feel material which hangs well. Size 16 is an accurate fit. A lovely smart but comfortable skirt.

I bought this skirt for my 85 year old mum and she loves it. The depth and mixture of colours is attractive and practical. She wears it with blue, lavender and pink jumpers but it would go equally well with darker colours. Nice quality and washes well.

Despite the unpromising photos, M&S, you have made a winner with this skirt. Not only is reviewer Carolyn happily walking around Shropshire in hers, but 12,000 miles away, I am happily walking around Melbourne in mine! A winner in both hemispheres. This is a fabulous skirt, one of the nicest M&S have made this year. The fabric is sleek and soft, the colors are vibrant, and it's a great fit and length. Sizing is accurate and at 5ft 3in, the 33in length is perfect on me. It's great quality and value, too. More like this please, M&S.

I love these skirts and have quite a collection amassed over several years. I am always amazed by how frumpy they manage to make them look in the photo's as in fact they are very nice indeed. Fairly generous fit so depending on your shape you might well need to go down a size, very well made in Georgia of an excellent quality velour fabric. Washes really well and after a light iron on the reverse it comes up like new, hardly creases even after hours of travelling. Fit wise it is fairly smooth over the hips and swirls out in a very satisfactory manner, really flattering on my hourglass shape. Print is nice and the colours - which are more a deep petrel blue with purple and the odd touch of violet. I went for the 33" for my 5ft 2ins, I did have difficulty getting one as they did not appear in store and I had to keep checking online for my size to appear. Very, very strongly recommend.

I really like the style colours and material of this skirt and would definitely purchase a long one in my size. So probably would my daughter! Please M&S produce more of these popular sell out lines especially in long lengths as these invariably disappear from stock immediately. It would be really nice to get what we want as not everyone wants to wear short fitting pencil skirts or trousers..
