Loved the duvet. It is warm, puffy and cosy. My only fault is that it should have blocks on to keep the feathers all over rather than gathering. That aside it is a brilliant duvet

Was very pleased to note no discernible smell as has been mentioned. Only using the 9 tog at the moment & although you can feel the weight (compared to my old polyester one) it’s not heavy, just comforting & cosy. I do however think buttons & button holes would have been better than ties so will just need to make sure they are securely well tied when the time comes.

Bought this for my daughter as I had previously bought one for my son 3years ago. This version had little ties holding the 2 quilts together which is a bit fiddly. Poppers would have been much easier as on the previous quilt. But good quality. Bit ‘crackly’ as high feather content vs down but that is such a small negative it still earns 5 stars. Good value.

Everything you want from an all season down and feather duvet. It's just very 'rustley' when you or your partner turns over, so one less star for noisy stiff cotton. Perhaps with wear it will soften with time and peaceful sleep will return.

Warmth when you need it

We wanted this sort of duvet as the weather has been hot recently especially overnight. This duvet is perfect for that, I have the 4.5 tog one on and it's warm but light. When it gets cooler I will change it for the 9 tog, and then in winter I will put them together to make 13.5 tog. It's great quality nice and soft. I love the idea that you can separate them to have the warmth that you need, suits everyone. We bought 2 one for the spare room and one for us.

I’ve had a similar one for many years and I’ve enjoyed the flexibility and comfort it offers. Basically it’s two duvets, 1 x 4.5 tog and 1 x 9 tog together making up the 13.5 tog for winter use, the nine on it’s own for spring and autumn and the 4.5 tog for summer.

The two duvets are fastened together with short ties. As it is currently warm weather the 4.5 tug duvet is being used on its own, the other duvet is stored in the useful bag that the two duvets came in. The duvet rustles a little, but not so much that it would disturb anyone. It has no odour (an observation that another reviewer commented on). I suspect putting the two duvets back together, when the very cold weather brings cold nights, might take a few minutes and perhaps poppers might have been an easier option to combine the duvets. The 4.5 is warmer than its synthetic 4.5 tog duvet predecessor, so I suspect that the 9.5 tog might be warm enough on its own.

Have only used the 4.5 tog at the moment, but it's lovely and cool but warm enough. Only criticism I have is when joining the 2 duvets together it is a tie up version, which I am not sure about yet
