Love these shorts, wore nothing else from the moment I received them during the hot spell this Summer, they were godsend. Very comfy, easy to wear and wash well. The only thing I was disappointed with is that the Black ones were too baggy at the front so I had to return them ☹. They were a little expensive I thought for shorts but I certainly wouldn't have been without them during our Summer holidays this year.

Haven't bought high waisted before but really like these. Makes a nice change. Was concerned about other comments saying bagging at the front but I didn't have this problem. Would rather not have frayed bits - I'm too old for that! :-)

Oh M&S you had such lovely shorts in last year. What's happened! The fit on these weren't good at all, too baggy at front. I returned them. Also they are more grey black and I really wanted black black. I'll stick to last year's denim shorts for now ;( wish I'd bough more of lasts year's. Oh shame.

I was hoping for the perfect shorts for summer but clearly this are not. Very baggy in the front and they will crease very weird when walk. I’m size 12-14 normally and this did not fit me in any way. Tight on the leg, baggy on the tummy area

I bought a size 12, the same size denim shorts from M&S that I currently wear. They were too small. They have been exchanged for Boyfriend shorts in Denim size 12 which do fit!!! I'm guessing its because the Mom shorts do not contain any lycra whlilst the Boyfriend ones have 2% elastane.

Very comfortable but maybe a bit puffy

I am size 12-14 and ordered a 14, the high waist and the length are perfect. They look very well made and they are flattering from behind. Just one star less than 5 because the front area seems a bit puffy, maybe that's the "mom" look or maybe should have ordered a 12, can't be sure without trying a 12 but too late to switch because I've worn them a lot now.

I wear a size 14 m&s jean. I ordered a size 16 in the shorts as I wanted them loose. I can't get them over my thighs! No way were these a 16!
