The cake was for my father in laws 75th birthday. Loved the detail and everyone said how good it tasted. Would definitely recommend it.

I ordered the personalised cycling cake for my fiance's birthday. We spent the week in the Lake District, as this is his favourite place in the world, and the design was perfect looking as it does like a Cumbrian mountain scene. I picked it up from the Kendal store having ordered it a week before. The cake was very impressive, and looked exactly as it does online. It was packed in a sturdy box, and there was a car park at the store. He was absolutely over the moon with it. It tastes delicious, very moist and fresh, lovely creamy buttercream and plenty of jam. We still have some left and it is still moist a week later. Totally delighted with this cake. 10 out of 10.

This cake looked exactly as it does in the pictures. Order and collect service was extremely easy. The cake had obviously been transported and stored carefully. The decoration was neat and colourful. The cake was moist with jam and cream filling throughout. Very tasty! I will definitely be ordering m&s celebration cakes in the future.

I have had this cake twice for family cycling enthusiasts. The sponge is lovely and moist and the hill design with the bike was ideal. I would certainly recommend it.

The cake was for a retirement party for my husband who is a mad cyclist. He thought it was great. It tasted lovely and disappeared quickly. Over the years I have purchased many of your sponges for different occasions and they have always been excellent.

We were let down with the original cake we'd arranged for my sons 40th birthday, so looked on M&S website, not thinking for a minute that they did 'bespoke' cakes! What a surprise when I saw this cake with the cycling theme I wanted for him. I rang up and expected to be told I didn't have enough time but, no, so ordered it and arranged to pick it up the day before his party. Everybody loved it and my son was over the moon, as the party was a surprise and the cake a big bonus. Not only did the cake look amazing, it was delicious and everybody just loved it! Once again M&S a huge thank you!

I bought this cake for my boyfriend's 30th birthday party. It looked very impressive upon pickup and the guests at the party were very impressed too (as well as surprised that this came from M&S as it looks so personalised!) The cake itself is nice and not too rich. The icing is quite rich but definitely worth it for the excellent finish. Well worth the money, thank you

I purchased this cake for my husband's 70th birthday party. He is an avid cyclist and his face was a picture when he saw it. Everyone at the event liked the cake and asked where it was from. They were very pleasantly surprised when I said it was from M & S (Specialty Cake Ordering Service). Picked up their order form from in store. The cake was delicious.

Spotted this cake design by chance when ordering the food for my son's 18th tea time bash! Hadn't expected M&S to have a Cyclist cake for one moment! I'm so glad they do it was exactly what I wanted for our cycle mad boy! He was thrilled with the cake and as well as looking fab it tasted lovely too. Would definitely recommend a themed cake from M&S - plus it was so easy to order etc.

I ordered this for my husband's 50th birthday and he was thrilled. Very apt as he was just about to cycle up the French Alps! Cake was moist and delicious with plenty of buttercream and delicious jam. The cake stayed fresh for nearly a week wrapped in cling film at room temperature. On collection - it is quite heavy to carry. I'm not sure if M&S usually have appropriate carrier bags, but on the day I collected they didn't have anything suitable to carry it with so I ended up carrying it cradled in my arms! This was difficult with the rest of my shopping. M&S please note I have collected cakes before elsewhere and there are these really good carriers with no corners which make carrying it simple! However, the assistant at the store was really helpful and apologetic when she saw I was struggling! Would definitely order again.
