Flattering crepe trousers

I wasn't sure at first if these lightweight trousers would be particularly flattering due to having an elasticated waist but I was wrong! They are lovely and hang very well. I wore them with a top that was fitted at the waist with a small peplum finish and the look was very slimming (I'm 5'3" and usually between a 10/12). Paired with a pair of mid height heels, the wide leg fit meant they moved very well. Would recommend!

Sadly I only wore these once. After one 30 degree wash they came away from the seams on both legs I did return with them to a store but was told they could not be exchanged

Bought size 8 and 10 as was not sure of the fitting. Unfortunately the size 10 trousers were totally different from the size 8 . Different material and the size 8 had like a cord and size 10 did not . It felt like 2 different trousers although they were supposed to be the same. Disappointed really

Evening wear
The trousers are very wide but I like that! I cruise alot and they will be very comfy in the evenings with fancy tops and the expanding waistline!

Comfortable fit- I much prefer the narrow waist elastic, and there are pockets! Regular length is just right for me (a couple of years ago I would have ordered long to get the right length and my legs haven't shrunk so I'm not sure where M&S are going with their sizing)

I ordered a 10 long after reading reviews about the elasticated waist being snug, i would normally go for 8. The fit was good around the waist, but too long. I reordered a 10 regular which fit well. The material doesn't crease so good for travelling.

So happy to see you have brought these trousers out again this year last year I bought regular fit in navy and black which are ok when wearing boots and this year I have bought same in short fit to wear with sandles.They hang well and always look smart to dress up or just casual

Fantastic - extra short!
Lovely quality trousers but only given 4 stars as the waist sizes are so variable. The first pair were so tight at the waist but fine on the hips. I ordered a second pair, same size and the waist was fine. It's great not to alter trousers legs, love extra short! Thank you.

Great pair of trousers, hang nicely and don’t crease being crepe material. I’m 5’9 and always buy Long leg but I think I could have got away with a regular leg, but I’m wearing these with chunky heel boots or high heel and they are fine and don’t drag on the ground. Pockets are a welcome addition and the elasticated waist is flattering.
