Cotton Rich Velvet Overcoat

I bought this coat in navy for a January wedding. It did arrive looking a bit creased, but after hanging it looked better. Like others I wasn’t sure f it had pockets, I’ve never seen pockets that have been stitched shut so thoroughly. You need a fine pair of scissors (think the stork embroidery ones) or a seam ripper and there is a tiny gap at the edge of the pocket to insert the point. The first couple of stitches are a bit tight, but after that the stitching comes undone easier. This is the third coat I've had like this and never had this problem before. PLEASE PUT IF A GARMENT HAS POCKETS OR NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION PLEASE.

So looking forward to wearing this. However, it was such poor quality fabric. Quite stiff with very little pile or movement ; it was more like a cheaper moleskin. Sleeves fitted quite oddly - perhaps it was just the stiffness? Sent back straight away. What a shame!

Bought for a special occasion but the delivery company left it in our green recycling paper bin and left no note. By the time your staff had located where it was delivered to, the event had taken place

Lovely colour and style but unfortunately the creases that were in the coat when it arrived just wouldn't fall out. Decided to return.

Love this coat and the colour is stunning. I got the green. . I've not worn it yet... But I think it would be loads better if it had side pockets that you could put your hands in instead of no pockets. . I bought it half price but I wouldn't have paid full price with no pockets

Fab dress coat great colour and contrasting lining well made lovely to wear fitted really well highly recommend exactly as i hoped.

When on the picture, I liked the bright mustard colour of the jacket. However when it arrived, it was a very different, much more dull colour. Also felt quite stiff and didn't fit well. It felt quite tight at the top, even though I'm a small woman, and quite loose at the bottom

Have coveted this coat for quite some time , maybe that's why I chose to hope some of the negative reviews are unfair . How wrong . The colour is not as described / photographed which can overlook but as for the quality ! It reminds me of a cross between a chamois leather and a Barbour . Awful , truly shockingly awful . Knew it wouldn't be soft velvet but did not expect crumbled , creased and rough . Have had to end up keeping it due to health limitations and therefore a lot of hassle to return . It's hanging in the wardrobe very unlikely to ever be worn . More than anything , I'm just truly disappointed this longed for jacket has transpired to be such a let down and waste of money.

Sorry but I was very disappointed with this coat after lusting after it for a while. It unfortunately felt very cheap, nothing really like velvet and was so stiff. Definitely not worth even the sale price.

Very pleased with this coat. Fits true to size and does have pocket you just have to undo the stitching. Have had plenty of positive comments on wearing it
