Cotton Blend Tie Front A-Line Midi Skirt

I found the material to be rather thick and heavy for a summer skirt which I didn't think really went with the design. It would have been better in a thinner material which would have hung better. I thought the colour was really lovely - just a shame about the style. Sadly, I returned it.

Was keen to try this on when it arrived, I was worried it would be a little overwhelming on petite 5'3" me but with a pair of heels it really is a great skirt. I wore to work for a day of meetings and a drinks event later that evening and it looks great all day, and I had many compliments on the colour and cut. Looking forward to it's next outing! Ordered size 10 and it sits perfectly on my hips, you wouldn't want it to sit too high due to the cut so if you're in between I'd size up to ensure it remains on the hips! Lovely belt bow detail too!

Gorgeous skirt. Excellent quality fabric and cut - looks and feels much more expensive than it is. Sits mid calf on me (I'm short). I've worn it out for dinner with a neat fitting (slightly shrunk) navy cashmere v-neck sweater and again with a cream a lace top - both looks felt very elegant. Can't recommend this skirt highly enough. Oh, and the pockets. I can't tell you how much I love a dressy skirt with pockets - more of the same please M&S.

This skirt is a great colour and fabric for Spring.....teamed with a crisp white shirt you can wear this comfortably. The fabric does not crease easily so if you have to sit down for any length of time it wears well. I also have the navy!

Great Sumner skirt, just the right amount of swirlyness, I'm going to wear this a lot Its more yellow than the pictures suggest, isn't a wrap skirt and has proper pockets

This really is a gorgeous skirt. Lovely fabric, great length, looks good and oozes quality. So easy to coordinate with other separates in my wardrobe. I would say that this is a realistic size 12. I feel M&S is finally getting things right ....over the last few months I've spent a small fortune!

Purchased the navy in size 14 and it is just what I was looking for. Fashionable midi length( I am 5'9"and it reaches mid calf), good quality, hangs well and very versatile.Great for the office.I agree the picture does not do it justice and am tempted to buy the other colour too.Worth the slightly higher price.

After looking for something to expand my summer wardrobe and failing miserably, I turned to M&S online. I sent for the yellow based on a previous reviewer's comments and I'm so glad I did. It's gorgeous. I'd say more of a mustard colour than it looks on screen. The fabric is a lovely weight and the skirt is well-made. Have also sent for the navy. Summer is sorted. Well done M&S

This skirt is more fabulous in real life. Don't go by the photo. It doesn't do justice to the style, colour or quality. The weighty fabric means it hangs beautifully, and the colour is unusual, but uplifting, after a long drab dark winter. I will say the front tie is an unnecessary addition, and I'm not very keen on that part, but overall it's a stunning skirt, very flattering and eye-catching. Perfect for me as I'm trying to get away from all the black that dominated my wardrobe.

I was tempted by the fashionable colour but was astonished by the quality and style. I can see it fitting perfectly with a navy or white tee shirt for day or evening.

I loved the look of this skirt, and the colour. I ordered this in Navy, but sadly it doesn't fit me well. There's plenty of room to accommodate my Pear shape, but as I've got a short body/longer legs, the waist wasn't sitting in the right position for me, despite trying to make it a bit more snug with the front tie. Sadly, it just kept slipping down, which didn't flatter me. So, I ummed and ahhed for a few days and decided to return it.
