Chenille Thinsulate™ Pencil Pleat Curtains

Well, when the cold weather does actually arrive, I will be very glad I bought these curtains! Heavy, thick and I know they will help keep the room warm. With escalating heating bills, we need all the help we can get and I am sure that these curtains will help. Easy to hang, what more do you need? Will buy another paid for my Dining room I was so impressed.

Excellent curtains beautifully made and great insulation

I bought 4 sets of these curtains only to find that there are lots of flaws in the fabric. They look fine pulled back or at night, but if you close them when it is light outside the light shows lots of holes. I returned 3 sets and kept one set as I needed curtains, but wish I hadn't bothered. Not worth buying!

I was looking for curtains for the living room. The material was lovely but they were too thin for my requirements. More suited I fancy for the bedroom. They were on the sale and good value for money but on this occasion unsuitable.

The material is very nice, with an undertone of gold, which you can't see on the internet pictures. Thick, good quality and very attractive.

Colour good, lining nice and thick, but after I had hung them it was only then that I noticed one end was shorter than the other by at least 75mm. Couldn't be bothered to take them down as I had disposed of the old curtains. I will have to take the hem down and level them out? Maybe curtain weights will help!! Not what I expected from M & S and they weren't cheap!!!!! You don't expect to measure curtains to make sure they are the same length before you hang them. Quality control take note.

A warm, rich colour. They are a good quality curtain

I bought 3 pairs of these curtains in reddish colour. Lovely thick linings, just what I am looking for. Like the satin/matt finish material, good choice for the full length lounge curtains. I agree with other reviewers, it would be nice to have wider width. I am not very impressed by the needle work to be very frank. 2 pairs out of 3 were not well finished. I ended up refining them myself.

I purchased these for a bedroom, in the plum/ red colour. They look lovely, give a lovely warm feel to the room and will be superb in Winter. They are excellent quality. I did need the extra wide width and was glad as the wide width would have been too small when pulled. They did require a light ironing, more so the lining however the creases did drop when hung for a few days. Overall i am really pleased.

Yes these are lovely curtains but take note that the measurements are misleading, the drop is give in inches but the width of each curtain is given In centimetres!

Full marks to M&S for these lovely curtains. The rich plum colour makes our bedroom feel very cosy and they keep out the light and cold very well. They hung very well straight from the wrappings with no creases or folds. So pleased to get an excellent "off the peg" curtain that fits our very wide window and still looks very full.

The curtains are made in good quality materials, the thermal lining is thick and keeps the room warm. They should come in more colours. If you want warmth and darkness this is the product for you.
