Checked Fishtail Midi Skirt

Good fit and quality of material is good. Much better weight then I expected for the price.

I liked everything about this skirt, good quality fabric which hung well, nicely finished etc. but sadly it just didn't suit me so has had to be returned, a great shame. Have given it good marks as it's a great skirt and on the right person will look stunning

Have been pondering whether to purchase this or if I even need another piece of clothing..... but I’m so glad I did. Being 5ft 7ins and size 14 this is super perfect with black fine M&S jumper, their black sling back shoes and tanned legs. Even better with 20% off! I imagine you’d need to be my height or taller. Might also get the black version of it too! This is a stunning skirt.... I’m reluctant to say too much as then everyone will want it!!!

Ordered the checked and black however had to return, miles too long even with heels (im 5.3) totally gutted, why cant you make these in a regular length also, not everyone is tall!

Quality,fit style great but heavy

Beautiful shape and style, love the material, pattern and fishtail. I usually wear a size 8, but I took a 10, as I actually think the skirt comes up a bit small. Also, I'd agree it's long, but not too long, like many have said... if you're genuinely 5ft 5'/6' +, and it is meant to be high wasted too. But M&S please consider that most of us aren't 6ft models! Only negatives, I'm not sure whether I like the black underneath ( not lined), which you can see from the front (as the back is longer), esp especially as you can see it on one side more than the other! One side of my skirt the seam is fine, until you move, and then you can see that it's not laying flat. My biggest problem is I had to order 4 of them. 2 arrived with pulls in the material, the 8 was bit tight, but all the 10's have can be up differently size wise!!....M&S please sort this problem out!

I was very pleased to see that this skirt was very good value for money. The fabric was excellent, but although it fitted ok, I felt I was going to be uncomfortable wearing it as it fitted where it touched, though it did not highlight any lumps and bumps; but it was just not my style. I would certainly encourage the ladies to give it a try!

I love this style, will be a lovely skirt to wear over the festive period.

Nice stylish skirt bought for a friend

I am a curvy size 16 and the skirt looks and makes me feel great. It hugs in all the right places. Need to wear heeels though. Really pleased with this buy.

I was very attracted to this skirt for its style, however the seam attached to the mermaids style was level with my knees which was very uncomfortable something definitely needs doing about it as it ruins a nice skirt

Very pleased with this skirt, ultra feminine. And as someone who is 5ft 10 - LOVE the length. The skirt looks tailored but is true to size and the heavy but stretch material is forgiving.
