very pleased with the quality of these trousers, did buy them in the sale, but would pay full price if others colors are made. Read on other reviews that they came up a bit small, so ordered a larger size, which was the only availability left, and they are perfect.

I was sold on these when I saw them on a large in-store poster. They looked so chic. I am very pleased with the style, the fit and the general quality. They look young. The check print makes them very on trend but they will not date after one season. I like the comfortable fabric which makes them easy to wear without sacrificing a nice clean line. They don't crease.

I got these in the sale and loved them! I got a size bigger than I usually get from marks as I like a looser fit for my work trousers, and they where so small!! I couldn’t even get them on to try properly! They are nice quality, well made and stylish so I was gutted when I went to swap them for the next size (so two sizes bigger than I would usually buy) and they had all sold out.

When these trousers did not fit I felt awful and thought I had put in weight. I then measured them against otherM&S trousers and discovered they were nearly 2” smaller than all my other trouser. I was very disappointed

Easy to wear summer trousers

These trousers seem to be very well finished and were a good shape on me, just a bit loose around the waist, but that is normal for my body shape. I ordered two sizes to try: Size 6 regular and size 8 Short. I usually find that the M&S 6 is a good fit for me, but these particular trousers were a little tight on the hips in the size 6, whereas the size 8 where much better. I didn't think my husband would like them as he doesn't usually like gingham clothing - "looks like you're wearing a tablecloth!" - but he gave a nod of approval to these, which actually means that he really likes them!!

Saw these in store, tried on and not disappointed, I tried on the 14 short to start with but realised they were a bit to short, had to order the standard size they are perfect! Sit just above my ankle, great with heels or flats! Purchased the black tie front blouse to complete the look! Very happy with my purchases.

Lovely trousers, great quality, nice to see gingham again, very good fit until you come to the tab & bar fastening, the bar is about 4" away from the tab, which in a larger size figure dramatically reduces the waist size, such a shame, had to return. Another pair different style same size same fastening but bar much closer to tab were perfect

I had previously bought the navy version and found them such a great pair of trousers for fit, style, washing etc, I could not resist getting then black version . Strangely the fabric feels slightly different but the label shows no difference, and it's not a problem. for the last pair i sewed the front pockets "shut" and may do the same again,
