Castello Cream Bedstead

I have had my eye on this bed for sometime now. It did not disappoint. I could not make my mind up between the cream or black. Cream was my 1st option and I fancied something different after previously having cast iron bed . The delivery guys are fast / efficient / professional - removing all packaging and putting the bed up in your desired location in the room of your choice. It took roughtly 30 minutes to put together. . I also bought the mattress to go with the bed. The bed is high but I love it for this reason . It looks luxurious . Initially feel like princess and the pea fairytale with it being high. I have slept well the past week in it and love it. I managed to buy the bed and mattress with 20% offer fantastic thankyou M & S....I know someone in a previous review mentioned rattling - I have not found this .

Love this bed. Bought it to replace a similar one from another retailer that I found too low. This has great height that adds elegance and is perfect for under bed storage. The delivery service was excellent and an added bonus for assembly to be included. To top it off bought in 20% off sale!

Bought these beds as we have moved house and have an extra room for people coming to stay. I must say, the quality and look of beds is very impressive. Both Hubby and I are very happy with them. Goods were delivered within the timescale provided by M&S and we selected the option for the M&S employees to build the beds for us. We are so glad we did as they completed the build of the two beds within 30 minutes. The Gentlemen delivering the bed were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Would definitely recommend this product.

Beautiful metal bed, traditional design and reasonably priced. Delivery and assembly was very efficient.

Bought to replace Marks and Spencer similar bedstead that was 15 years old and broke (my fault). This new one looks great and the frame is solid. However, it rattles like a freight train! Where the horizontal brass members at either end fit into the bed knobs it is loose and rattles loudly. I've had to wedge Blutac in the joints to silence this. Disappointing. I can't see any way to tighten the joints and I don't know if this problem is a one off. My previous bed was silent.

Very pleased with this bed. Looks lovely and strongly made. Only small quibble is slats. No-one seems to make metal wire bases anymore for bedsteads and they used to last for years.

This bed is better than expected. Good quality and solid. Unfortunately the delivery men couldn't get it upstairs but were very helpful and pleasant. My husband had to put the bed together and it was straight forward. Would certainly recommend it.

This bed looks great - but beware it is really big and high so does need a decent size room. I haven't experienced any squeaking or rattling. Overall really happy.

Excellent delivery service. Very good communication to arrange dates and time. Beautiful bed. Looks very solid and expensive. It doesn't make creaking noises either which is a bonus with a metal frame bed. Very happy with it.
