When I bought the original defuser in a bottle with reeds it was fabulous. The scent was strong and continuous. So I bought the refills but it seems way weaker and very disappointing. In fact, there's pretty much no scent coming off it at all. So no, I can't recommend the refills 🤷🏻♀️ Same.

Such a beautiful aroma, not too strong, doesnt give you a headache. It is subtle and calming. I have one in the spare room and one in our bedroom. The refil goes a long way. I always end up gifting this after gifting the defuser first.
