Great little dress .. But can’t believe I’m saying this .. it was too short!! I’m only 4ft 8inches so I struggle all the time with clothes shopping .. I ordered petite 12 as that would usually be midi on me .. but this was just on the knee.. fitted well every where else.. I bought it to ware for my nephews wedding and felt it was too short to feel comfortable in .. ( tho it is extremely comfortable) just not for a wedding and at my age of 66 ! I will order it again in standard size

Bought both the yellow & black after finally being able to get them in tall. Really lovely, simple style, fit well (usual size) except for length, the standard which I usually get is very short. I'm 5ft 6 and the tall is a better length and still above the knee.

Too short for me
When you're over 60, 5'1" and you don't want to look like a milk maid responsible for a herd of goats, a short, simple dress like this should fit the bill but no. Too short and, as with other 'mini' dresses they are always sold out in a longer version - does that tell you something? M&S, shorter, older women want straight, knee-length, pretty shift-type dresses, with sleeves if possible, not a milk maid's dress traipsing around the ankles.

Really love this dress had compliments on it the first day I wore it, really nice for work on sunny days. Knocked a point off because it’s not the colour advertised at all, I ordered the yellow but it’s basically cream. Still a lovely dress but it’s a shame it’s not that colour
