Boys’ Slim Leg Plus Fit School Trousers

My son is high waisted and so likes to wear trousers around his hips so I buy them bigger than needed. I bought the largest size but they are actually too big even with the adjustable waist. He wears a belt to keep them up and they fit much better and look smart. I would recommend for boys who either need a bit of extra room around the middle or if they have a high waist and wear them lower.

These are good quality, hard-wearing trousers which are comfortable and have an adjustable waist.They wash well too. My only, minor, issue with them is that the legs taper at the bottom making them difficult to turn up; the leg at the bottom is narrower than the part you are trying to stitch to. As I said, this is a minor issue, but I would imagine lots of people buy longer trousers and hem them rather than buying new pairs every couple of months.

These used to be great. Now the sizing is off and the trousers look sloppy and unflattering.

Bought three pairs of these trousers for my son. Within just a couple of weeks the seams had gone on two of the them. Not the quality I expect in school uniforms.

Bought several pairs of these trousers. Have to say the navy ones did not appear to be of the same quality (material wise) as the grey ones. Time will tell how they wear. Not a lot to review just good fitting school trousers.

I find these perfect for my 5 year old grandson who is large for his age,I buy the 9/10 years and just alter the length a little. He manages the clip and zip and feels very grown up.

M&S really seem to have a problem with stitching. This must be the fifth pair of trousers that I have had to return because the stitching has failed within a few wearings. In this case the trousers did not even get to their first wash without splitting. The lack of M&S branches to return the trousers to just adds to the annoyance.

My boy is very tall and very skinny. The length of these trousers is excellent for him, also having the adjustable waist is a must so they are perfect for that too. These trousers are not what I would describe as slim fit, my boy looks like he is wearing baggy trousers. But as this is the best we could find he is just happy he has a pair to wear at all!

Bought the same school trousers in black and grey, the grey ones were extremely long and ill fitting compared to the others. Had to return them

Even though these trousers are plus fit I still need to buy an older boys size for my son which makes the length very long. I know my son needs to loose weight but buying the plus size should surely give him the option of buying a size more realistic to his age. He is also tall for his age but not that tall...... The quality of the material and stitching is as always very high as we always expect from M&S

I was looking for right size for my growing boy as a plus size still were to small till I got help in the store and magic I found them

I ordered 5-6 & 6-7 to try for my sturdy almost 6 year old. (Ordering both as they are sadly not stocked in stores) The 5-6 is pull up and the 6-7 is a zip. The 5-6 had more room for growth in for him simply because they were pull up. The clasp on the 6-7 made them more snug on the waist. Having bought these previously for my elder son I would definitely say they are smaller this year. Great comfy trousers though.

Great fit for son with short legs, because I was able to get the correct age waist size but did not have to take up the legs. Waist a little big but adjustable to narrowest waist means they can be removed without fussing with clasp but don't fall down. Slim leg means they're not baggy and fit well. Really pleased I discovered them!
