In the end, upon reaching the bottom, I discovered it was a semi-transparent jelly-like substance, sticky, and unable to foam. Has it possibly expired? I purchased it from the official website. photo is attached.

I purchased the Botanical Repair shampoo and conditioner after using the Botanical Repair Leave-In treatment for over a year and loving it. I have been using this product over a year and they have changed the product quality in to some type of conditioners which means you CANNOT wash the shampoo away from your scalp and irritation afterwards! We all need to get refunded for this awful shampoo.

Used trial sized shampoo & conditioner. Noticed my scalp was itchy afterwards. Such a shame as hair felt great initially after washing. Won't be buying full sizes.

Now when I use this my hair feels awful! It feels dry, brittle and like chewing gum, I also notice more hair loss but that may be unrelated. Overall I will no longer be using or recommending botanical repair, which is a real shame.

I used this in combination with the conditioner. I used it a few times but it made my hair increasingly dry, brittle and straw-like and after several uses my scalp was severely irritated and very itchy. I had to discontinue use and my hair texture has not yet recovered, so far from repairing it has caused more damage. I will not be using Aveda hair care again.
