Body Invisibles™ Cool Comfort™ Full Slip

I’ve had many of these slips over the years to wear under maxi dresses. I thought this one looked slightly different when I ordered it and a bit more fitted so I sized up. I bought 4 and the 3 unworn ones went straight back. The sizing is ridiculous. Size 16 looks more like a 10 or 12. They stretch a lot but they are so tight, cling to your body, ride up and although they are supposed to be invisible now have a seam in the back. Really not what you want as these are not intended to be bodycon/control underwear and are way too thin to control anything. I’ve noticed other M and S items like knickers have got a lot smaller too. No doubt a ‘cost of living saving’ - just like a lot of foodstuffs - same price but less item! Doesn’t quite work with clothes!! Get your act together M & S.

Haven’t worn yet but appears to be exactly what I wanted. Fabric is thin so should fit nicely under dresses but still add that comfort/decency layer that I want. Fit is true to size. Note on the length: I’m 5’6” and ordered the 29” length initially. This comes to below the knee on me which I feel will be too long for some of my dresses. Subsequently ordered the 23” and this sits just above my knee.

Had to size up to 18 even though i am a 12-14! I read the reviews and ordered a 14 and 16, but the item was too clingy. The underskirt is quite thin. Bought to wear under a summer dress, so not worn yet. Hopefully it will be fine and if not will wear as nightwear. Used a sparks offer so price ok.

This full slip was just what I was looking for, just right length and comfortable.

I bought this slip as I have a few other's always find the slip to be cool comfortable to wear. Stop seeing to many bumps, giving a smooth look.

I bought 3 of these in the same size I have which fit me. I think they have changed the style so these now ride up so only good for really short dresses.

I wear these slips all the time this last ones seem a bit smaller than the last ones.

I've purchased M&S underwear for around 55 years. I'm sad to say that is now quite unavoidable to mention the decline in quality. Both fabric and fit are poor. I have kept the 23 inch slip but the usual size 10 is very skimpy and of very thin, probably not anti static, fabric. The 16 inch was little more than a vest. Please M&S sort yourselves out.
