I bought these in the sale and ordered two sizes 34 and 36 inch waist. I measure 37 inches. The 34 waist fits well without a belt, but might be a little tight after say a large meal or several beers. The 36 is a little to big without needs a belt and I will return these. The material on both pairs was very stretchy, excessively so in the thigh and crotch area, but not in the waist. One could easily stretch/pull three inches of slack with the material by hand on each thigh due to the amount of elastane used in the material weave, which I would say is excessive. This doesn't detract from the tailoring but may after washing or dry cleaning. It just doesn't seem normal for a wool mix trousers to be this stretchy.

Bought a couple of pairs for partner. On the plus side they are warm, stylish well fitting trousers... at first. However, trousers don't wash particularly well with fabric looking tired after the first wash. Subsequent washes don't help. Also this textured fabric attracts lint
