Aubrey Cotton Mix Throw

It was too thick and the pattern too bold for what I wanted

We use throws to protect our sofas when sprawling to watch tv. I'd previously rejected this one because of its 'dry clean only' description but on reflection can see no reason not to put it in the machine on a warm gentle cycle. Its cotton/synthetic mix should present no problem and though the fringe might in theory be vulnerable I've repeatedly machine-washed - and tumble-dried - a heavy cotton fringed throw (from Laura Ashley) without mishap, so when the time comes with this M&S one I'll cheerfully risk it (and not blame M&S if I'm wrong). Aesthetically this throw is attractively discreet rather than stunning, fairly lightweight (so folds away neatly) and with a pleasant soft texture. All in all a good buy.

Yes, nice quality throw. I bought 2 of these to cover my sofa so that our dog can join us at night while we watch tv. He also seems happy with them.

This may be returned which is such a shame as I do like it but the quality is not up to M &S usual standard !

An investment piece for sure - you do get your money's worth with this one. Looks so chic on the sofa and very good quality. Would be fab for the autumn and winter months, a bit too thick for summer weather of over 25 degrees celsius as we have been having recently in August 2020, but I would still recommend overall.

Nice throw lovely colour of pink. I would have like it to have been bigger. Bit small on double bed. Has to be dry cleaned!

This is a lovely soft colour and nicely textured throw. It is quite big too and looks nice over my chair.

Really loved this throw. A good weigh and subtle colour. Very sad that it was too light ( in colour) for my colour scheme. Would be fine for bed throw but might be less durable in a lounge setting.

Lovely natural shades, soft and attractive fabric. Very happy with it. Can't comment on durability yet.

I bought two of these throws for my garden furniture. They were to coordinate with my tiger cushions (I also bought from M & S). The throws are lovely. However, I didn’t realise they were “dry clean only”. This is not very practical for my purpose. I probably would not have bought them had I noticed this information. I like to freshen my throws on a regular basis and because they are dry clean only, I will freshen them up less that I would normally like. I decided to keep them anyway.

So delighted with this lovely new sofa throw. Excellent quality, perfect colour. Marks & Sparks you never disappoint. Extremely quick delivery too. Would highly recommend!

Nice size for wrapping round myself. Cosy, lovely shade and good quality, as expected. Looks good too. It is currently my favourite throw (I have a few!)

I could not visit my elderly mother. Flowers maker her sneeze, she has gone off chocolate but is always cold. This bla let was ideal. My mother is frail but this throw was not too heavy. The colour, she said brightened up her day. Delivery was swift and courteous.

Lovely colour, thinner feel than l would have liked, no idea of durability as just purchased.
