After year of searching, I finally found the perfect foundation for me, which doesn't cause break outs, looks natural and is light enough for my skin tone and now it appears to be out of stock everywhere. Will this ever we back in stocks in fresh alabaster?? Or do I need to start the search for a new foundation all over again

I'm genuinely devastated that Clinique has taken the decision to withdraw the majority of the colours in the line. I've been using ivory for years, and it's the only foundation that works with my extremely sensitive skin. I'm on immunosuppressants (biologics) and nothing else works on me. I've tried nearly every other Clinique foundation, and a lot of others from different brands. "Even better" makes my skin oily and slips off my face even with setting powder and primer. It doesn't cover anything despite being apparently medium cover. "even better clinical" doesn't seem to bond with my skin in any way and just sits on top of it. It's really odd. "Superbalanced" is a fantastic concealer for me, but any dry skin really stands out. It's great as a concealer in general but too much for full foundation on my skin. "Beyond perfecting" was incredibly sticky and never seemed to dry. Anything that brushed against it, even hours later, got stained. I used it as a concealer until I'd finished the bottle, but it did accumulate in any little wrinkles. I really hope Clinique reconsiders their decision to withdraw so many shades from "beyond perfecting" so I can have nice looking skin again. :(

There seems to be a national shortage of the lighter shades of this foundation and I AM DESPERATELY CONCERNED you are about to stop making it! It's the only foundation that doesn't give me spots! I have been using it for over a decade and IT IS THE BEST!!!! PLEASE DON'T STOP MAKING IT AND GIVE US OUR FRESH ALABASTER SHADE BACK! I HAVE NEARLY RUN OUT!!!!!

Was looking forward to getting this after perviously using Clinique foundations and was so disappointed, after getting a colour match I was confident I had found a foundation that would give me the coverage I need but unfortunately after about 10 minutes it looks so bad, it litrally makes my skin look dirty, I've tried it both with and with our primer and moisturizer but still getting the same results, the coverage at first seemed like it was going to be great but just left my skin looking patchy and worse than if I had no foundation on before, really disappointed as I thought I'd found a new everyday foundation.

i bought this foundation as i have spot prone skin even though im 37 i find it difficult to find a foundation that doesn't cause me breakouts this is perfect i really love it

I tried this foundation because I wanted something that would provide even coverage for mild/moderate acne without aggravating sensitive skin. I had a virtual consultation and was matched to Alabaster, the lightest shade, but it turned out to be quite orangey on me, and definitely too dark to get away with only using it on certain problem areas. Also, even though it says it will work for dry skin, I found it incredibly drying, clinging to drier areas and settling into creases that are otherwise invisible! It provided good coverage, although it was heavier than I wanted it to be, but overall it just looked super cakey so I sent it back. I'm grateful that Clinique does free returns for online orders! This might work for you if you have oily skin and want a fuller coverage, but I wouldn't recommend it for combination skin or anyone looking for a lighter, buildable coverage.

Honest review as Im not really used to leave reviews bit I hope it will help if you struggled like I did. So long story short: I suffered from large pores, acne scars, hormonal acne, rosacea, dry flakes, oily t zone, blakcheads, wrinkles etc. So yes my skin very often becomes a nightmare also not easy to find a foundation which helps with all the above. I am using anti blemish solutions over a year now and I would never ever change it. Due to my job I wear make up 5 days a week and I tried several foundations from the biggest (expensive) brands to almost all the drugstore ones but none of them can compare with this one. Stay in place all day till late night without touch up. Medium/full flawless coverage. Look so natural even in the sunshine, in the meantime it covers my imperfections. Little goes a long way. Not a "sits" in pores/wrinkles cake bake foundation. Anti blemish ingredients also a must have benefit. Simply amazing. Since I am using this my skin improved a lot and I keep getting compliments how beautiful is my foundation as this kind of finish is not really usual from any foundation so can I share which one I am using? I would never change. Clinique please never stop selling these. I'm in seriously in love with this foundation.

I've been suffering with acne since the age of 13, so for newly 10 years now I get red cystic pimples, blocked pores and discomfort. This foundation has been a game changer! It doesn't irritate my skin, when pretty much every other foundation on the market does. My pimples are reduced in size and don't hurt when wearing the foundation. The coverage is medium, often I still need to wear concealer under if I have breakouts but I wouldn't use any other foundation on top. Would definitely recommend.

I've been using this one for years and although I've tried other products, I keep coming back. It's a firm stable. It's Demi Matte formula gives is a natural finish, coverage is uniform and helps to keep oil under control. I have super oily skin, and while the oil does deep through by the afternoon it's nothing a little powder can't fix and it's by far the best out there.

I have mixed feelings on this product as when I first applied I absolutely loved it, it gives you just enough coverage without being to much. Lightweight, feels like your not wearing anything. Matte finish looked lovely on my skin. My skin felt lovely and soft when taking makeup off! Didn't clog pores. However I found it did transfer easily onto clothing. I have combination/oily skin (oily T-zone) And the first day I tried it I used concealer how I normally would under eyes and around my nose. However by the end of the day it had melted off completely around and on my nose, the 2nd time I only used concealer under my eyes and used primer, finishing powder & finishing spray all over, I found it did last a lot better but still came off where my glasses were, and was shiny around the nose area. I think this would be a brilliant foundation for someone who doesn't have a super oily T-zone like me as it looked great on the rest of my face. I have ordered a mattifying primer for my oily areas so maybe that will help.

This foundation looks gorgeous. It has a medium buildable coverage so you don't need to use concealer. However, it does not look at all cakey. It has a beautiful finish on the skin. It lasts ALL day. It doesn't even get the usual greasy marks on your nose from wearing glasses and that's saying something. I wear makeup everyday and I truly did notice a difference in breakouts;they are much more rare since I started using this. Also, for you pale, yellow toned people out there, the shade 01 alabaster is PERFECT. It does not look pink, does not oxidize and it does not look orange. I don't usually write reviews but this is a truly splendid foundation.

I came across this in Debenhams - by itself it did not work, my skin was flaky and this foundation just worsened that. However, I now routinely use the anti-blemish skin care 4 step products and the difference they have made is amazing. Since that I found other foundations worsened my blemishes but this one protects my face for the day. If I don't wear it, I am more likely to breakout. I need only a small amount of each of these anti-blemish products each day and my skin appears fab. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is that I would like more shades. This one is a bit dark but the lighter option is way too pale.

I do like this foundation as it's light in coverage and doesn't feel cakey. However, ironically I need to use a fair amount of concealer on top of it to cover my acne, which causes more breakouts. I'm also very pale, and the fresh alabaster shade just doesn't cut it - it's far too dark and orange on my skin. Please, please Clinique - bring this out in lighter/more varied shades because it does make very good everyday, light-wear foundation that works for calming blemishes (as long as you don't use concealer with it).

I have moderate acne that flares up when I use any concealer and most foundations. No matter how well I wash the makeup away it always causes multiple breakouts. I wore this foundation yesterday for a few hours, washed my face and went to sleep. When I woke up this morning my skin actually looks better. My pores have shrunk and my spots have flattened and are healing my skin tone is more even. Usually I wake up with More breakouts after being bare faced all week. I am shocked I might start wearing this more often. The only issue is it's low coverage but that's probably the reason for my skin improvements.
