This was sold a a letter box gift. As it was a present for someone I didn't see it bit disappointed to find out that it was left on fhe doorstep and sadly no gift message included although I was assured by phone it would have the message.

Lovely box with gift card and good selection of products, however the lemon drizzle cake had an extremely short shelf date and the Victoria sponge wasn't great either. As this is a Christmas gift, I've used them both and aim to replace them when I do Christmas food shop in M&S 3 days before Christmas. I can then wrap the box. It hasn't put me off the gift, cause it is lovely but you just have to be mindful that some of the products will have a short date on them.

Very enjoyable. We had a previous version of this a few months ago and I must say we enjoyed the Bakewell loaf cake more than the lemon drizzle in this one. The icing on the lemon drizzle was too sugary and sweet my teeth on edge.

The cakes went out of date on 6th December which isn’t ideal when this is a Christmas present and this is under Christmas hampers
