Love the fit of these 501 Crop jeans, but I’m disappointed with the Black Sprout color. After just one wash, the black faded significantly. I followed the washing instructions, yet the jeans now look more grey than a true black.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted so badly to love these jeans because 501's are classic. First, I had to go up a size in the waist because of their fit specs. 2nd and most important, WHY BUTTONS instead of and Easy ZIPPER? It is so cumbersome to have to try to button jeans....it's a non starter. Mens jeans are zipped/why can't womens' be easy on/easy off? To me, that's not a good selling point.

Great cut, black wash shorter than advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This style is the perfect cropped cut, with a true straight leg and a cinched waist. I have them in 3 washes and love them. However, the black wash was a solid 2 inches shorter than the others, definitely not 28 inch inseam.

Material seems thinner than the regular 501. I returned these jeans because it had plenty of threads coming out, which I have never seen before on Levi’s jeans.

Think I could have sized down as when I have worn them for a couple of hours they aren’t the tight fit that I like.

I bought the 90s 501 in the same, no stretch, denim two years ago and difference is huge. The 501 Crop denim is thin and scratchy and puckers at the pockets. The fly is wonky. They look so cheap.

Purchased several 501 - I got the new to now NDX blue this time. I noticed these seem a little smaller in the hips. They do have stretch (I only get the 501 with stretch) I normally have a 25 in these but in this colour I got the 26 and it fits the same. Love them so much I got the 26 AND 28 leg. For crop and full fit. I’m 5’5 for reference. Just wish the waist was a little higher!
