12 Piece Maxim Flare Dinner Set

I bought this set in the sale as I liked the look of the bowls! I wasn’t expecting much but when they arrived I absolutely love them :) perfect size and shape!

Happy with my new dinnerware purchased two sets..hopefully will last longer then my old ones. Thanks Team for your help in refunding the difference in price.

The set seemed value for money for a daily dinner service, but I returned the set because the dinner plates were too big for our dishwasher.

I have wanted this dinner set for a while I’ve always had white crockery and for some reason we had grey for the past 18 months and I really didn’t like it So when this came on offer I decided that I would change to white again. It looks classy as well as contemporary and fits in the dishwasher well .

Had 2 sets bought for me for christmas and as its only the middle of January they havent even lasted this long. The plates and bowls have been used and popped in the dishwasher as you normally would and in natural light you can see the underglaze has cracked on all of them, like you would see in a 30 year old plate you come across in a carboot sale.. very disappointed and will be returning.. does nobody make plates anymore thats of a decent quality?

I bought this dinner set recently and love it the plates have a good weight to them and feel like a quality plate, only thing now is I need to get another set

Was torn between buying the contemporary square Maxim range or the Flare range. Decided to go with Maxim Flare as the pieces would fit in our cupboards and dishwasher better. The side plates are a good size for a slice of toast and fit in the dishwasher nicely. The dinner plates seem rather large but this does include a decent sized rim which helps reduce the chance of over-filling your plate! We have a 50cm built-in Bosch microwave oven and although large, these fit in with approx 1cm to spare around the edge. The bowls are perfect for cereal and soup etc., although I personally I prefer something wider and shallower for pasta dishes. They stack inside of one another really compactly and so are easy to store. Usually; the deeper the bowl, the less you can fit in the dishwasher at any one time, but they kind of sit behind one another neatly and so don't take up too much space. There was one imperfection (a minor dimple in the porcelain) on one plate, which is not bad out of two sets (of 12 pieces each). Really pleased with this range.

Bought the Maxim Flare dinner set and then added 2 extra of each piece and then also 6 mugs. The mugs are a great size not too big. So far all pieces have been through the dishwasher and not chipped.
