M&S sells a vintage three years younger than advertised. I wrote a very long review of the actual product, but M&S refused to publish it. I cannot (and therefore will not) tell you to look elsewhere. M&S are "great". Say it with me now.

Bought 6 recently, lovely alternative to EU Zinfandel. Trying to source wines from outside EU. Graf value to be had from Chile, Argentina, S.Africa & Australia. Wines from the U.K. are good too, but a little expensive.

The M & S Classic Zinfandel is the epitome of a California Old Vine Zin. The blackberry notes with Cherry and the smooth finish, low acidity and tannins make it the perfect wine for most dishes whether meat or fish.

This wine is plonk. It is ok as a cheap table wine but having tasted many California Zinfandels, this is bottom of the barrel!
