XA Pro 3D V9 Gore-Tex Trainers

It's nice not having to dodge puddles of water when wearing these shoes. The gore-tex works great. These shoes are surprisingly breathable and comfortable.

I wanted something a little more low profile than my cherished eight-year-old Quest 4d boots, which I love. Waterproof is key for my needs. So far I’m very happy with these shoes. They are quite comfortable and seem well built. Hopefully they last as long as by boots!

Having previously owned the XA PRO 3D GTX, I had a great experience with them—they lasted almost four years and performed exceptionally well. Now, I have high expectations for the XA PRO 3D V9 GORE-TEX, and so far, they are off to a great start. I’ve tested them by walking on flat terrain, and they feel incredibly lightweight. One of the standout features is how well they allow my feet to breathe, despite the solid protection they offer. The GORE-TEX membrane does an excellent job at balancing waterproofing and breathability. The Quicklace system is another aspect I appreciate. I hope the laces remain durable throughout the shoe’s lifespan, just like my previous pair. I’m eager to put them to the test in the Peruvian mountains soon. If they perform as well as they have on flat terrain, they might just become my new go-to for trail running and hiking!

One of my favorite shoes of all time. However the lack of a Mid Version is maddening. What's the use of having Gortex when water and snow simply pour over the top of the low cut model. The Mid model also provided protection and stability for the ankles.

I switched from Jordans to this shoe as my daily shoe. So far love it. Very comfortable to wear for 6-8 hours a day.

I bought these shoes and they're very comfortable, and true to size. I couldn't be me pleased with how they feel and the stability they provide.

This is my fifth pair of Salomon’s and fourth pair of xa 3d pro’s. This is my first gore-tex pair. Same comfort and quality. Only negative is they make a popping sound when walking I guess because of the material. Other than that, great shoe!

These shoes are great. The X Ultra 4 were a big disappointment. I have even bought an extra pair of these “just in case”.

Very comfortable; the fit is true to the size. They have good stability without being tight.

Great shoes for travel, hiking, and trail-running. Excellent waterproofing for snow and rain. Short break-in period before being extremely comfortable. Good style, too.

My 5th pair; it’s my go to and has been for years.

I have been buying Salomon"s for 15+ years. Most time out of the box true to size. This pair feels tight and short in right foot. So going with the wide and 1/2 size larger. Sad because the wide only comes in Black, really liked these for different color. so we'll see.
