absolutely amazing pair of hiking shoes. chic design with functional and promising features.

I have been wearing Solomon sneakers for almost 30 years.I love the no tie laces. They are easy to slip into and comfortably take me shopping or hiking.

I bought these for a trip to Patagonia hiking. I haven't worn them in the rain but they worked well with a few inches of snow. Shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They are heavier then the trail runners I use for hiking. But, they are so comfortable, I am taking only them for 8 days of hiking. I usually like to change my shoes, so that last statement was important.

I haven’t used them yet, but my last pair were the same and they have been brilliant

I have labrador retrievers so out rain or shine every day. These shoes have been fantastic- shed water and comfortable to wear all day long. I have worn out the soles (1st pair) the cuffs (second pair) these are the third. I walk 3-8 miles a day on park trails

I have owned multiple pairs of Salmon's over the years. We have hiked many miles together! I have noticed in this current pair and the previous pair that there is little padding/support on the balls of my feet, which is unfortunate because I love everything else about them. I can't take them on long hikes because the ball of my feet become sore.

The shoe in terms of trail running traction and being waterproof is really good. However, the fit and sizing is disappointing. My small toes on both feet are getting blisters / chafing. I suspect this is the large size of the toe cap and the shoe being too big. I used the size guidance provided but I should have trusted my instinct and gone half a size smaller. I have been trail running for over 10 years and have never had this problem before, but this is also my first time trying a Salomon trail running shoe. It's disappointing as over and above this the rubber on the front their walking shoe I bought earlier in the year started to peel off from the shoe. Not a great first experience with Salomon so far.

I bought this last month and am very pleased with the fit. I love the look.

Wore these hiking in rain in Glacier. My feet were soaked. There must have been 2 Tbsp of water sloshing around my feet. I have been wearing xa pro for years and have many pairs. But the waterproof ones are not waterproof.

Bought a month ago, great for walking/ gym classes/trail running and look good too.

Four years ago I purchased a pair of Salomon Gore-tex trail hikers, when I had my right hip replace. I wanted shoes I could slip on and off. I LOVED my old shoes and wore them so much that they were finally starting to wear out. Salomon wasn't making them anymore, so I took a chance on the XA PRO 3D V9 GORE-TEX. I LOVE them. I had my left hip replaced June 19, so I was hoping for the same convenience as the old shoes. These are great and I like them better overall than my older ones.

This hiking shoe has a very stiff heel box that works well for me. I have foot issues and the solidness of the heel box in this particular shoe allows me to have a more natural gait. This is my 4th pair.
