X Ultra 360 Edge Mid Goretex Walking Boots

This is my third pair of Salomon boots. I estimate I probably walked at least 5 million steps in my first two pairs. For these I ordered the same size as the other two pairs. On trying them on the seemed fine. However on my first couple of long walks I found to be hard and uncomfortable. The soles are so rigid they don't bend at all.

daughter asked for them for her birthday. Comfortable and sturdy. Run a little on the bigger size. Will wear thicker socks. She loves them.

I am truly satisfied with my shoes. Great for all types of activities, chic and great quality. Looking to buy more!

They look good, elastic lace situation makes them easy to slip on and off but they’re secure, good grip on them and I like the hard toe cap as this makes them feel sturdier like a walking boot. Strong arch support in the shoe - I could really feel this when I was walking. Took them on a debut up Cima Capi (steep hike and Ferrata) and they didn’t disappoint, although they’re my first Salomons to give me a blister! So for that reason… a 4. But they’re pretty good as an all rounder. Haven’t tested them in wet conditions yet.

I’ve been wearing Salomon boots and trail runners exclusively for 13 years. They fit my feet like a glove. These boots give me the support and traction that I need for Camino walking. The one complaint I have is that the laces are too slippery. Because I will soon be wearing them every day I find it irritating to have to struggle with the laces while tightening and tying them. Oh..and the tongue is a bit over stuffed. This might not be the worst thing it just adds to the problem of dealing with slippery laces.

I’ve taken these on a few hard hikes since I’ve bought them and I couldn’t be happier. They are lightweight but sturdy. They are amazing for uphill scrambling but when I go downhill, they are a little tight on the toes, even though they’re broken in and I got a perfect size. Other than that, these are my favorite shoes to throw on now for any outdoor activity.

I bought these for a semester in New Zealand and I have loved them so far. So great for all the hills, rain, and exploring. I’ve gotten lots of compliments and haven’t had any issues even after wearing them for long periods of time.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. They have great support and cushioning, making them perfect for long walks, hikes, or everyday wear. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Got these direct from Salomon site cheaper as they were last year's stock. Wouldn't have chosen this colour but the price was good. Haven't worn them for a big hike yet but are comfortable walking about a bit. Soles feel tough and grumpy. I am normally a 4.5, these are a size 5. There is a bit of room in them, especially around the toes. So this will mean there is space for thicker socks in winter. Only slight issue it's a bit tricky to pull the laces tight as they just slip and there is only hooks at the top. I'm sure I'll get used to this though.

I have had Salomon boots for a while now and have been happy with them. These ones are the same - super comfortable and grippy. Waterproof, even in the sea of the outer Hebrides. Great quality and recommended. And these were is the sale!

Great cushioning and ankle support, looks very nice too. True to size. Laces looks to be not very durable, but time will tell.

I went on a hike on the vermillion coast, hiking over 40 miles in a week. These boots brought me comfort and support throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

I got this for my trip to Madeira and took them on a hike without breaking them in and they were great - very comfortable (sized up a full shoe size!), amazing design (got a lot of compliments, deffo felt like the coolest gal on the mountain ;) ) and they stood the waterproof test! The only downside is that, because they're waterproof, they're not very breathable, so they may not be suited for warmer months.
