X Ultra 360 Edge Mid GORE-TEX Hiking Shoes

Got these direct from Salomon site cheaper as they were last year's stock. Wouldn't have chosen this colour but the price was good. Haven't worn them for a big hike yet but are comfortable walking about a bit. Soles feel tough and grumpy. I am normally a 4.5, these are a size 5. There is a bit of room in them, especially around the toes. So this will mean there is space for thicker socks in winter. Only slight issue it's a bit tricky to pull the laces tight as they just slip and there is only hooks at the top. I'm sure I'll get used to this though.

I have had Salomon boots for a while now and have been happy with them. These ones are the same - super comfortable and grippy. Waterproof, even in the sea of the outer Hebrides. Great quality and recommended. And these were is the sale!

Great cushioning and ankle support, looks very nice too. True to size. Laces looks to be not very durable, but time will tell.

I went on a hike on the vermillion coast, hiking over 40 miles in a week. These boots brought me comfort and support throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

I got this for my trip to Madeira and took them on a hike without breaking them in and they were great - very comfortable (sized up a full shoe size!), amazing design (got a lot of compliments, deffo felt like the coolest gal on the mountain ;) ) and they stood the waterproof test! The only downside is that, because they're waterproof, they're not very breathable, so they may not be suited for warmer months.

I have been walking my dog for 18 months on a local common the ground is not even with humps and bumps all over … previously I wore wellies in the wet and trainers in the dry… both not comfortable for the environment we are walking in… these new Salomons are perfect for both wet and dry … comfortable and secure on my feet … so pleased I bought them

I bought these quite recently to replace a pair of Salomon boots which I've had for 9 years and worn a lot! I've been out on a few long walks/hikes with them and they are very comfortable. I really like the colours. I did have to get half a size larger than my normal size and the previous pair. Have already recommended them to a friend who was looking at boots.

I have bought Salomon b4 over the years & found them true to the description, apart from the waterproofing, first pair lasted 5 years, would u believe it!, from then on never had another pair that lasted more than 18 months, what’s gone wrong with the manufacturer, the soles wear out within 6 months, this latest pair look good were comfortable for the first few weeks, but NOW are torture to wear, seem to tighten with every step, no matter how many times I re-adjust them, any suggestions anyone?

Really good hiking shoes. They’re comfortable right away, have great grip on rocky and wet trails, and feel very stable when walking. I also like that they’re lightweight and breathable, so my feet don’t feel tired after long hikes. I will say that these are a solid choice for outdoor adventures.

I bought this for a hike and was really excited to test out the performance since i’ve heard so many good things about the brand. i did break in the shoe before going on the hike so it definitely wasn’t that but honestly felt like it wasn’t the comfiest hiking shoe. i’ve hiked in sketchers before and they were more comfortable in my opinion. it has great grip for sure and it does well for uneven terrain and especially rocky areas but for walking the sole is pretty thin and you will feel it. you can’t really walk for long distances comfortably. would love if the shoe had all the current features but with more cushioning then i would give it an easy 5 stars.

I bought these boots a month ago and am very pleased with them. I have worn them frequently and they are light, easy to put on. They make my feet feel supported and secure.

I’ve worn the Salomon X ultra 360 edge for the past three weeks as everyday shoes for my trip and I have to say they are the best shoe I’ve ever owned. They’re easily adaptable, have an amazing fit and are ideal for everyday use. They’re also amazing hiking shoes! Extremely comfortable, zero issues on the first hike! I do recommend walking with them for 2-3 days or until they feel comfortable!
