Eco friendly and extra layer for protection
Yes, I recommend this
Love this wrapping paper, I may be a bit early to start wrapping presents but makes December so much easier. As well as being eco friendly it does indicate it has an extra layer of paper provided for protection and as previous comments have indicated easily can rip when opening. Managed not to rip too much so got se extra paper out of it as well bonus.

Product waste issue
Ridiculously difficult to open - Loved the paper and both sides a great idea but lost a lot of product on opening - shame

Pain in the trotters

Horrendous tape secures wrap as a result you loose a good three inches at the beginning of the roll and about 10 minutes to get into the wrap! That said worth the effort nice quality paper

Terrible paper

M and S you need to sort this wrapping paper out , by the time you have ripped off all the sticky labels you lose loads of the paper

Below expectation

Wrapping paper and gift tags are nice. But, M&S let themselves down with the ridiculous sticker instead of a plastic wrap. By all means stop the plastic, but to add 4 stickers to each roll, that aren't the sort of sticker you can peel off, means the paper is damaged and cannot be used. Expected better of M&S.

It all roped when taking 4 of the paper off

Awful stickers on the paper wrap edge!

Great quality paper BUT so disappointed that it was so difficult to get the sticky labels off so you could unroll it. It wasted a lot of paper! M&S needs to use low tack, easy to remove stickers that do not damage or rip the paper. Appreciate the effort to not use plastic bag cover, but needs to step up their game with not using those awful labels.

Not good

Worst wrapping paper ever , I had 5 sticky labels on one roll of paper that totally stuck and lost about 12inches as ripped trying to get off , wrapping the parcel was even worse and kept ripping and looked shabby never purchase again very poor quality for M&as

It’s not a wrap this year!

The worst ever wrapping paper invented. Okay so it’s great to see M&S ditch the plastic wrap. But why in a favour of a sticker that wrecks to top layer of the paper. Paper or cardboard sleeve would have been more simplistic and effective. Or perhaps a lighter adhesive.

Four stars
Yes, I recommend this
This would have been a five star review if it hadn’t been for the adhesive strips holding the rolls in place. I lost part of the roll because the adhesive damaged the paper. Surely this adhesive isn’t necessary

Worse paper to purchase
No, I don't recommend this
Wrapping paper had stickers to hold as a roll but then would not peel off so the beginning of roll all ripped

Rolls stuck down with highly adhesive stickers
No, I don't recommend this
Nice novelty wrapping paper, but poorly packaged. Each roll was stuck down with very adhesive stickers which meant unravelling the roll would rip lots of the beginning of each roll wasting paper. and there 5 stickers on each roll the same. Lots of paper ripped and wasted and time consuming unpicking each sticker. Really poor for M&S standards.

Ridiculous wrapping - don’t buy!

I love wrapping my Christmas presents but having decided to wrap my M & S presents first, in the Percy Pig paper, my Christmas spirit has all but vanished! Took me 10 minutes to unstick the cheap sticky tape (5 pieces on each roll!) from around the paper and wasted at least 20 cm of each roll in the process. Then to add insult to injury, gift receipts were missing for two of my items! I’m afraid that’s the end for M & S for me - what has gone wrong at my (former) favourite store?!

Whilst I applaud the idea of no plastic wrap, the stickers that hold the roll are a nightmare to get off ! They tore the paper underneath and I lost a good 12 ins of wrapping paper !! Not good M&S !!

Unsatisfactory wrapping paper
The wrapping paper had rolls of paper securing it, to save plastic it said. However , every little roll of paper was stuck to the wrapping paper. This meant, to remove it meant tearing a large amount of the actual wrapping paper to free it from the sticky paper. Very disappointing.

Wish I’d read the reviews before purchasing. The ridiculous stickers take half the roll with them when you try to peel off! What a disappointment M&S. I do not recommend this product.

Top Tip!
Yes, I recommend this
The stickers on the wrapping paper this year are ridiculous so if like me you really want Percy Pig here’s how to open it with no damage to the paper. Hold your hair dryer on the stickers for a few seconds and carefully peel off, be extra careful on the large middle sticker. It’s a faff I know but it works ! I think the actual quality of the paper is fine. It’s just opening it is the problem!
