Wool Rich Double Breasted Longline Coat

I love the coat but I'm disappointed that the inside of one of the pockets has not been sewn up properly 😕 I'll have to get my needle and thread out!

I’m a size 8, 5’7” tall. I bought a size 8 coat; it fits perfectly over a medium weight sweater. Length to just above my ankles. Good heavy winter weight. The hidden button holes are a challenge. Whilst I doubt I’ll do the coat up much I know that come deep winter I’ll be cursing the fiddly buttonholes. But that’s a future me problem.

Lovely thick ( quite heavy) stylish coat. Looking forward to wearing it in the cold weather.

Traitors Charcoal wool LONG tweed coat. Fantastic LONG length, more please. Charcoal tweed is perfect to wear with all colours. Single breasted so much more flattering. Buttons in a hidden fly front, fiddly initially, but buttonholes ease with use, and when the best knack is discovered! This makes the coat look quality tailoring. Initially I could only get a 20, too big. I was delighted to get a 18, still big, but I’m layering up so I can live with an 18. The 20 was huge with this issue, the 18 still enormous, with this issue, so I tried an Autograph 16 winter coat, still same issue-although an oversize design, the width of the shoulders of this beautiful wool tailored coat with fitted sleeves, which I much prefer, is ridiculously wide across the shoulders, and droop down looking awful, and I’m thinking the shoulder width might be the same for 20, 18, 16 Autograph. Most disappointing, and I’m broad shouldered. I’m happy with raglan sleeves, but never buy your latest, drop shoulder designs as this looks round shouldered, as do your square cut shoulders. Also, the shoulder pads in this coat, are surprisingly thin and narrow in width across the shoulder. This coat is so nearly perfect. I would like the navy one too, only I’m too late? It’s on email elert, so fingers crossed. LONG Length is fantastic, more wool coats, this really long length please.

I’m so thrilled to have truly longline coats for my 5’10” figure. I bought both the navy pinstripe and grey check version. Get this piece while you can, fellow tall girls! In Britain it’s rare to find anything suitable for tall women, and when manufactures dare to produce anything long like this, there are always tons of short women in the reviews complaining, even though they can get things hemmed while we tall ladies can’t add more fabric. I have a narrow frame and always size down in coats. This one was no exception. It’s cut narrower in the hips than the bust and shoulders, but overall not much to complain about in terms of fit. Price is excellent value for money, especially if you catch it in the sales.

Extremely heavy, thickest coat I’ve ever seen on the high street (which may not suit some people) and generally excellent quality. However it’s not for petite people - I’m 5 foot 2 and went to a big effort to track down a size 6, it drowned me and trailed on the floor, did want to get it tailored but think it’s too thick! Gutted but will have to return. Also the hidden buttons are extremely fiddly and I do t want to spend ten mins a day getting my coat on.

Great quality and design but far too long for me (almost down to the floor). I am 5ft4 and ordered size 10. Pity but I had to return it.

Thought this a lovely coat when I spotted it online and not often you get as much wool in a coat these days at this price. The reviews were all favourable except for the fastening so ordered when I had my Sparks offers. Not disappointed as great fit and length, am 5’ 6.5” and sent for a size 12. Absolutely perfect and I can manage the inside buttons - for anyone thinking of buying, just push the buttons down the way in the buttonhole when fastening. It is heavy when carrying but doesn’t feel heavy when on. Great Christmas present from my husband. 😊

Beautiful wool coat warm and cosy the only problem I had was with the button holes, unfortunately they were very tight and difficult to pass the buttons through so I did return it! Sorry!!

Bought for my daughter who saw it when out shopping and "can't stop thinking about it". I treated her to it as I had a 20% promo. She loves it.
