I originally ordered 2 of these lamps, I liked the unusual style and wooden bases. However, one was faulty, there was a very dark mark the entire length of the shade. This was clearly visible, even without a bulb in the lamp; it was even worse when lit. Therefore, I returned it and ordered a replacement, which I collected from Store and inspected before bringing home. Pleased with lamps, but annoyed one obviously not properly inspected before dispatched.This meant 2 additional trips to the Store, each a 10 mile round trip and time consuming.

As per pic. Quite compact but excellent for bedside tables. Give off quite a bit of light. No lightbulb included but this is stated. Nice linen shade. Not a stand out lamp, but ideal for small areas. Excellent value for money, especially with 20% off.

Good style but not the most efficient
For looks and occasional use this is a good buy, it fits in nicely as a bedside lamp as it's a neutral colours and styling. The base has a good weight. I've taken a star off because of the bulb it uses; an E14 LED candle. Easy enough to buy one as it's not provided with the lamp but the energy efficiency rating for this style of bulb is pretty poor as an E rating (across different brands). That's fine if you only want it on for a few minutes a day, but for longer hours worth of use you might be better off looking for another design that uses a different, more efficient bulb.
