Winter Parka

I have been after a good warm coat for years, I found the best one in this coat. Thank you M&S.

Bought this for my stepfather who needed a really good, warm coat-jacket for his long woodland walks. This fitted the bill perfectly. Great quality too.

Pleased with coat except for cheap low quality zip. I am afraid it is becoming apparent that M&S is buying to a price point and not paying attention to quality. Decided to have the zip repaired at a cost of £79! Had M&S fitted a decent zip like the one I have now it would have added about £5 to the price. Do your customers a favour M&S and employ a few buyers looking at quality.

There were plenty of pockets on the inside and outside although the upper and outer pockets could be positioned a little higher. It was also useful that the hood and neck lining could detach making the coat a little more versatile. When zipped up, the coat is quite warm and covers the entire neck which is good for chilly and gusty days. There are unfortunately more negatives than there are positives, the most glaring of which is the fact the coat is not particularly waterproof. It's fine for very light rain but any time it's anything worse and I am outside for more than 5 minutes I find that the water seeps through the seams of the coat. Often times when I take the coat off, my top is soaked around the shoulder areas as a result. The coat also stains and or scratches incredibly easily and even lightly brushing past overgrown twigs tends to leave some marks on it. Overall onsidering its high price, I would stay away.

Good jacket but as yet unworn, so can't comment on its warmth or wear. The first one arrived damaged, but it was easily exchanged.

Coat is very well made, the fur around the collar is very warm and not itchy at all. The numerous pockets are also a great pro, expecially the massive inside pocket on the left side at the bottom!

Zip broke after 1 1/2 years. Shame, because otherwise, the jacket is great.

Very warm.reasonably light in weight,Fur collar wondreful for keeping one warm, On the negative side,the zip needs to be stronger and of better quality and the inside waist tightener that was listed in your description is missing???

The coat is very comfortable, well sized and good for the purpose of keeping winter winds and rain out. Lots of pockets, although, the comment was made that there were no side pockets, so hands were downward facing. Detachable hood, good, faux fur collar, snuggly. A good jacket for winter walks.

Perfect coat worth every penny looks like a Ralph Lauren parka .

My husband is delighted with this. Looks great, very warm, right length - not short - and the hood zips off! What more could he want!
