No, I don't recommend this
As the shoes are wide-fit, the fixing strap should be long enough to cover the velcro, and it doesn't. The colour comes out of the leather at the slightest abrasion, so you'll be walking around with white toecaps on their first use. Luckily, this defect can be disguised with regular polishing.

The shoes are great, They are the only mens shoes with flexi grip fastenings I could find in M&S. Great for wide and tender feet! My problem was not being able to find them in store. I was obliged to use M&S online click and collect, meaning another trip to Kingston and parking fees.
