Almost a good item. If only the designer had realised that if you gather waterproof trousers at the ankle simple physics dictates that all the water ends up in your shoes/boots. These need to be adjusted to flap out over the footwear.

Purchased size 16, true to size. Came to my ankles, I’m 5’5”. This product was described as waterproof but, I imagined a scuba type fabric. However they are quite thin, more of a waterproofs you might wear over trousers in my opinion. I felt they were stiff and ‘noisy’ so I am going to return them.

Bought trousers for rainy walks. I am really pleased with the appearance and fit. Not too loose or too tight. The fabric is quite thin so good for warmer weather and there is room for a warmer layer in colder times.Not yet been out in the rain in them,so not tested how waterproof they are.

Not impressed
Bought these in the sale. They weren't really worth the sale price let alone full price. At best they're like over trousers but they're only shower proof so not even suitable for that purpose. Returned.

Comfortable walking trousers
Comfortable walking trousers. For waterproof trousers they are not too noisy when you walk. Haven't used them in rain but I expect them to be good. Wish they can in different lengths. I had to loose the elastication to take them up

I bought these for birding in wet weather, and found them to be waterproof. They are of good quality and at a very reasonable price compared to many others. The material is lightweight and jodhpur like in shape, but might not appeal to everyone. I went up a size as I encountered the "tight at knee" problem that others have also noted - that and to give space for an extra warm layer to wear underneath on coastal wilds. Less noisy than many waterproofs I've worn!
