Water Resistant Multi Pocket Tote Backpack

I bought this to replace my Raven 28 and it falls short in every way imaginable. It's fine for when you have like two things to carry, but it is extremely uncomfortable when you actually need to lug some stuff. Only buy this if you don't really need a backpack. It's a tote bag with backpack straps, not a backpack with a tote strap. Do not buy this if you are a student who needs to lug around your books, notebooks, laptop, and food for the day. It's not a serious backpack, get the Raven 28 instead.

This is just what I was looking for. I recently had to return to the office for 3 days a week after working from home for years. I take the bus and I have to lug my laptop back and forth. I also fractured my shoulder a year ago and have had replacement surgery, so a heavy backpack is out of the question. This is lightweight and has multiple ways to carry it. I can easily carry it crossbody if I want, and the backpack straps are sewn on close to each other so when I wear it as a backpack it doesn’t cause me shoulder pain. I worked in Travel Gear for decades so I’m picky about bag quality and features. Very happy with this.

I love this bag. It’s my go-to. I just wish it was a little bigger and could hold bigger water bottles. ! I’ve tried all of the other High Coast bags, but there’s something about this one that brings me back to it.

I like the size of this bag. It's pretty floppy as other reviewers have said. I am using it for my gouache painting kit en plein air. Inside I have an REI sit mat that gives it some rigidity. It holds all of my gear. I wanted the versatility of crossbody strap and back pack straps because I will be traveling with a backpack for my clothing. The included crossbody strap is not shoulder friendly so I bought a padded strap from ALPAKA that is cushioned and much more comfortable. The new strap uses a similar attachment system so I'm all set. In a perfect world the bag would have come with a padded crossbody strap.

Wow I have finally found a bag that I bring along with me and still use to add my food bag for lunch. Amongst all the bags this the bag I need.

This bag has been great for traveling. It fits everything I need as a carry on for the plane or a roaming around town daypack. I love the multiple strap options, allowing me to use it as a backpack when I’m on the go, and more of a purse/tote for shopping. Brilliant.

This is a wonderful personal item. It fits the strict Canadian airline dimensions and packs up small if needed. Even fit a pair of cowboy boots inside for my return home! I like the different carry modes.

A well loved and used pack. While i got it as a birthday gift for my partner, we love the carrying options for this bag.

I bought this bag a year ago and since then I have not used any other of my bags. This totepack is very spacious for me, yet it does not feel overwhelming on my shoulders/back (even when I pack it full). I love the adjustable straps and that it is quick to convert. Additionally, the material is easy to clean, there is no need to buy any kind of special chemical (I just use soap and water). Its size matches with many airlines' personal bag policy. Overall, the price of this totepack is justified by the strong material, durability and practical size. I really recommend it.

I love how light this bag is and the fact that I can either use it as a backpack or shoulder bag. It has been great for work.

I purchased this as a gift after receiving one as a gift. Love the multiple carrying options, useful pockets, lightweight construction. I don’t carry a laptop or tablet in the designated pocket, it seems a little too unstructured for that purpose, but it is excellent for corralling notebooks, planners, and pen cases.

I was excited for this bag but the side pockets are not big enough to fit my water bottle, and the material gets scuffed and marked easily (these don't come out, I've tried). The bag also does not stand upright by itself which is slightly irritating. I would recommend other bags before this one but it sure is cute.

This is the second high coast tote pack I have bought. My first one has travelled a lot with me as a personal item on flights. Durable, good looking and versatile. It looks as good as new after 3 years. I love the new Blackberry colour and this second bag gives me a match for the crossbody bag that I had already purchased. I love the fabric and the size. I usually use it as a backpack or shoulder bag but the tote option is handy. I have not found a bag I like better!

I've had this for over a year. It's okay. It's flimsy as flimsy can be. There's absolutely no structure to it whatsoever including at the base. If you set it down it's going to fold itself over. Seems to hold up just fine just wish there was a little more substance to it .
