A deep bouquet of red berry, leather and toast lead to a structured palate full of poached berry and peppery spice flavours.
The Casablanca Valley is one of the cooler wine regions of Chile where the influence of the ocean is key, tempering the long hot days with cool ocean breezes at night. This creates the key temperature balance that contributes the excellent potential to its grapes. For this cuvée, winemakers Anamaria Pacheco and Jean-Charles Villard selected fruit from different valleys to create a blend that brings together Chile’s terroirs. The wine is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from Maipo, with the addition of Cabernet Franc from Maule, Syrah and Merlot from Casablanca and Petit Verdot from Aconcagua to add complexity. The different varieties were vinified separately, then matured in oak barrels before finally being carefully blended, ready for drinking.
