Cotton Velvet Quilted Bedspread

I'd been waiting for the 20% off for a long time, so couldn't believe my luck when I saw it was on last week. I swithered between the Sage & the Green 💚 but decided on the green, it's a beautiful coloured green & great quality, plus it feels very expensive, looks very good on my bed 🛌 👌

The size is good and fits a double bed with sufficient overhang on all sides. The fabric feels luxurious, the quilting and detailing on the stitching contributes to the overall look of quality. It provides a warming addition to a mid season duvet. My wife and I are in disagreement, she feels it’s overpriced!

Finally managed to find one in stock in XL, had requested notifications but didn’t get any as others have said, so had to keep checking website. 100% worth the effort, beautiful quality, the green is lovely soft shade and looks perfect in my room, delighted.

Really impressed with this bedspread. The quality is superb - really luxurious and weighty.

The quilt is perfect . I would have liked to purchase the cushions but at they were too expensive

This bedspread was just what I was looking for, it’s just the right weight for me and looks absolutely gorgeous on the bed.

I really wish I returned this purchase and got my money back, I wanted to love this bedspread so I kept it hoping it would grow on me. The colour is different to what was shown online, it is the type of despressing grey that was everywhere in 2020 when I thought it was going to be more of a warm beige tone. The stitching has been loose since I got it in several areas, presumably because the bedspread itself is so heavy, so it’s literally bursting at the seams. This makes it uncomfortable to have on top of your usual bedding as it restricts movement and it makes it impossible to wash at home. I have a huge machine that can accommodate 12kg but this doesn’t fit. As someone who washes their bedding twice a week, it has proven to be an expensive purchase in more ways than one as I now need to use a dry cleaners to make sure it is fresh. The positive is that the material is soft and it is certainly big enough to cover my super king size bed which can be hard to come by. Other than that, I don’t have anything positive to say about it and it certainly isn’t worth the price in my opinion. I don’t see this lasting the test of time, it’s not up to M&S’s usual quality.

This bedspread was a considered purchase as it is expensive. However I am absolutely delighted with it as it makes a real statement and looks beautiful.

Bought this throwover in the deep green shade. It is really beautiful. I bought the extra large size for a king size bed and it fits perfectly. Good heavy weight and luxurious quality.

Beautiful quilt. Very thick and heavy with a touch of elegance! Nice shade of blush pink. A little expensive at £149.00 but I guess you get what you pay for.
