Cotton Velvet Quilted Bedspread

I really wish I returned this purchase and got my money back, I wanted to love this bedspread so I kept it hoping it would grow on me. The colour is different to what was shown online, it is the type of despressing grey that was everywhere in 2020 when I thought it was going to be more of a warm beige tone. The stitching has been loose since I got it in several areas, presumably because the bedspread itself is so heavy, so it’s literally bursting at the seams. This makes it uncomfortable to have on top of your usual bedding as it restricts movement and it makes it impossible to wash at home. I have a huge machine that can accommodate 12kg but this doesn’t fit. As someone who washes their bedding twice a week, it has proven to be an expensive purchase in more ways than one as I now need to use a dry cleaners to make sure it is fresh. The positive is that the material is soft and it is certainly big enough to cover my super king size bed which can be hard to come by. Other than that, I don’t have anything positive to say about it and it certainly isn’t worth the price in my opinion. I don’t see this lasting the test of time, it’s not up to M&S’s usual quality.

This bedspread was a considered purchase as it is expensive. However I am absolutely delighted with it as it makes a real statement and looks beautiful.

Bought this throwover in the deep green shade. It is really beautiful. I bought the extra large size for a king size bed and it fits perfectly. Good heavy weight and luxurious quality.

Beautiful quilt. Very thick and heavy with a touch of elegance! Nice shade of blush pink. A little expensive at £149.00 but I guess you get what you pay for.

This bedspread had been out of stock for a while, as soon as it was available I ordered! It’s beautiful, fabulous quality, super warm & a lot cheaper than many alternatives out there. I also found it was one of the very few velvet bedspreads you could wash at home - most are dry clean only. I love it, highly recommended!

Fairly satisfied with this product, not as good as the past versions

I got this in the blue to go in the spare bedroom. Really good quality and a good size. Wish the grey was in a better shade and would purchase too.
