Valentine's Red Rose Letterbox Gift

Delivered on time for Valentine's day and after 24 hrs had recovered full shape. Still blooming on 21 Feb

Whilst delivery was okay I was not totally happy with the condition of the roses on arrival. They were somewhat dry and were a little wilted.They made a recovery after a couple of days in water however one did die within those couple of days. I would think twice about about buying flowers this way in the future and buy from a store. When you buy flowers for a love one on a special day you don't want to wait for them to look their best.

Firstly, the package was supposed to fit through a letterbox, but it did not (even though it's a standard-sized letterbox). It was left propped up against the door on the street. Fortunately nobody took them away. Secondly, the flowers were in very poor condition. In previous years I have used a different supplier for Valentine's Day flowers, and my friend has sent me a message "thank you for the lovely flowers". This year she wrote "why have you sent me some dead flowers?" I will definitely not be using M&S again.

The recipient of these flowers has asked me not to buy from M&S again because the flowers arrived looking a bit sad. It may be that this is the best quality available at this price point so in future I will spend more. I also ordered a letterbox gift so that they could be delivered safely if no one was at home but the delivery driver still left them on the door step.

Roses do not appear to have been stored properly and arrived looking very sorry for themselves. I would not order again.

Ordered the letterbox version in the hope that it will arrive by post in time. Instead, they arrived by courier, later in the day. Flowers were clearly starved of water and took three days to achieve any sort of recovery before deteriorating very quickly afterwards. Not the Valentine Day impact I was seeking.

This was a valentines gift & the recipient was very disappointed with the quality/condition of the roses!!! The roses were dry/dying when the box was opened & even after being in water for a day they never recovered. I expect a lot better from M & S.

The flowers arrived on the stated day and within the times promised. However the flowers were limp and starting to shrivel up. After a few hours in water they had started to recover though one was beyond recovery. Te remaining 11 never recovered completely. Disappointing.

The flowers arrived promptly as stated. Once prepared and put in water and food, they bloomed into beautiful roses standing proud and beautiful. They are still going strong after a week. Trim the ends and keep in a constant temperature (not too warm). I have sprayed the flowers with gentle mist of water to keep fresh. Beautiful. Thank you M&S.

The roses arrived on time, which was good, but on opening the box some of the roses had badly wilted and were in desperate need of water. Fortunately most made a recovery, but the initial presentation was disappointing, my wife receiving a box of half dead roses is not a good look. Also the roses were a very deep red colour, not a bight "rosy" red as in the picture shown on the web page. Not sure that I will be using the "letter box" delivery option for flowers from M&S in future.
