This was a nice valentines gift and was appreciated by the recipient but I felt there was not enough value in it for the cost.... it definitely had a signficant occasion markup!

Truffle cheddar
The cheese was awful as I did not realise it was truffle flavoured cheddar. My husband could not eat it as it was so strong. Everything else was lovely. I wish it had been a normal cheddar as the gift was so expensive

I have broken my foot so had to order something online for my husband's Valentine's Day present. We enjoyed all the contents apart from the cheese. We both like strong cheddar but neither of us liked this particular cheese. I do pay an additional monthly amount for the Club Rewards Scheme and thought perhaps this hamper could have been offered to members of this scheme at the reduced price of £30 (rather than £40 + postage) rather than me seeing it advertised online at the reduced price after I had ordered it.

This seemed an ideal gift particularly for a loved one who enjoyed nibbles and constructing a quick meal from it’s varied contents. I was told the liquid refreshment also went down extremely well. I have given it five stars for this reason.

Stinky cheese ruined gift

Bought for my Husband who loves cheese but found the truffle just too overpowering and couldn't enjoy it at all. Gave to neighbour , also a cheese lover who couldn't eat it either or even bring himself to feed it to his chickens Everything else in hamper was lovely but marred by the cheese

Definitely the way to a man's heart! It had loads of delicious things in. Everything was used. It wasn't like some hampers where you are still left with random things six months later. Everything was high quality and very tasty. It was also packed really well so the cold cheese etc arrived cold.
