Leg length-roll up not mentioned in description
Comfortable BUT no mention of the leg being longer than described length. It has a roll up design ( reflective tag/seam?) so when rolled fown to look smart casual... its inches longer. Mark n Spencer should do better... if its a feature describe it!!! Its wasnt manafactured by accident. Product owner / marketing should be held accountable... bet they get a lot of returns

No, I don't recommend this
I returned these although kept a similar pair in a different colour. The problem is that these are not cut to true length - I ordered 29" inside leg, but that is issued as a loose turn-up - i.e. it's not actually 29" length, but quite a bit longer. I suppose a turn-up is OK as a style, but it's kept in place on one side by a stitched-in tag which is white (on black trousers) and looks ridiculous. The beige pair which I kept has an equivalent black tag - that's almost as bad, but nevertheless I'm putting up with it. I don't think M&S are exactly being clear on the website about size and style. Other than that, they're fine in quality and material.

Second pair purchased because they are very comfortable to wear. The pockets could be longer and the zipped coin pocket is just too intrusive. My test of quality is how easy trousers iron and this gives an insight into the care applied when the various panels which make up the trousers are put together. One leg lay flat to iron so that was fine but the other refused - the seams were twisted making ironing frustrating!

If these are Regular Fit then I shudder to think what Slim Fit would be like, reminiscent of drainpipe trousers of the 60s. WAY too narrow to ease into , I had to drag them on one leg at a time. They might do as work trousers but certainly not for decent wear. So sad, what are M&S coming too!

I ordered these chinos because they were specified as being 29” in the leg. They wre longer than that, but had simply been rolled up- not stitched or turned up, just rolled twice, to meet the specification! I needed them for the next day, so no time to take them to a tailor for a proper job, so had to make do. But I’m surprised ar M&S indulging in what I see as sharp practice! !
