Nice navy blazer
No, I don't recommend this
I am struggling a little bit with the sleeve length of this blazer, I haven't quite made my mind up if it's a keeper yet. The sleeves are very short even on me who usually has to have sleeves turned up.

Love the style of this loose boxy jacket. Really don't like the polyester feel of the fabric, not sure why they chose to use it, it feels flimsy and cheap. However, I wear the jacket a lot because it's so useful

This Blazer is what I hoped that M&S would re-introduce. I had one of every colour previously with a super colour range in Petit fit,, and now I cannot get one in my size. or fit and only Navy. This type of Blazer/ Jacket is timeless. Please look after us older Ladies M&S we have been loyal to you all our lives.

Gorgeous blazer
Yes, I recommend this
Picked this up yesterday. It's just what I wanted, 6 brass buttons adorn front, sleeves are actually good for me as I'm a petite size, and everything else in standard size, sleeves are too long. I have been seeing other comments saying that sleeves are too short so be aware when buying if you have long arms, but for us " shorties" , brill ! Nice spotted lining and I like the way there's inside buttons to keep front inline at the hem. I chose a size 10, bit in between sizes at moment but it fitted well. It looks great with jeans. I don't think it will date so very pleased with this buy.

Nice idea
Yes, I recommend this
I owned one of these original blazers (in black) in the early 1990s. It was expensive back then, but oozed style and quality, and lasted me for many years. I really like this updated style with the shorter sleeves and unstructured fit, but what lets it down is the cheap and tacky polyester material. I would be happy to pay a bit more for better quality material...the original version was 100% pure new wool.

The Ada Blazer - Good for Alexa lookalikes
No, I don't recommend this
When the Alexa collection was released I was pretty excited. The price was great and the Ada Blazer & Trousers would have been a great addition to my summer work wardrobe. That was until I remembered that unfortunately I'm not the same size and shape as Alexa. The jacket is quite boxy and would suit someone with a small frame and not my curvy 14 which just makes it look like I fill the total area. The matching trousers are lovely but again if you're curvy it just looks like you're filling the space. So in short great suit for a petite, slim build and a brilliant capsule item. If you're over a size 10 then the shape isn't optimal for curves.

Nice design, true to size but let down by poor quality fabric.

Versatile Blazer
Yes, I recommend this
Was undecided when I first ordered this but was pleasantly suprised when I got home and tried it on, in a size 6 it was the perfect oversized fit to make it casual enough for over a dress on a night out and still with the slightly fitted shorter arms smart enough for formal wear

Love this blazer!
Yes, I recommend this
I love this blazer. I read the reviews before I purchased it seeing as I live in NZ and postage can be costly. I am 5ft 5ins and a size 8. I bought the 8 and this blazer is a great fit. The sleeves come to my wrist bone so aren't 3/4 length on me but I'm happy with that. The fit on the shoulders is good and the length perfect. Being polyester the fabric is lightweight with a somewhat "crepey" look and feel. It is a very comfortable garment. It drapes well and doesn't crease. It is not a fitted look. It looks fab with dressy pants, dresses, skirts and jeans so is highly versatile. It has a somewhat retro look too which I love as it makes it look a bit different. The price is good too - what's not to like? I highly recommend this garment.

but the cut was too low. It would have been better if the buttons had been higher, with a little bit less wide neck !

Unfortunately this looks great in the picture, but was a terrible fit, all much to long and a strange shape. Didn't seem to fit anywhere.

My new blazer
Yes, I recommend this
I love this for the Spring & Summer as it is light & comfortable. This jacket is so adaptable & looks equally good with jeans or a slightly smarter look for the office. Very happy with this purchase.

Badly shaped, terrible fabric

Awful cut, terrible fabric, cheap buttons. Another design flop from this range. Straight back. Not good enough this poly mix, static, cheap feeling. Horrid.
