Gorgeous top
Yes, I recommend this
This is such an unusual top/ cardigan and the colour is lovely and buttery. I had to buy a size S - I’m usually an XS - as it’s quite a tight fit. Looks great with a matching moss green jacket/ trousers I bought recently from M and S. Highly recommend

Not as nice as I hoped it would be.
No, I don't recommend this
This looked okay on the website (on a tall, thin model) and I thought I would order it just to see, but it was just not as nice as I hoped. It may have been the colour I chose, or my figure, or a combination of both, but the result was a return. It looks summery, but not. The fabric is very heavy so is likely quite warm to wear.

The fit was perfect but the button holes were to small couldn’t undo them

Well I love this top. I have both colours and it washes and wears like a dream. No ironing and so soft and comfortable against the skin. I have trouble with the buttons but use it like a jumper and go overhead so only open the collar buttons. Ironically it makes me look thinner too - bonus.

The top has a bit of weight behind and is not flimsy so sits well.

Looks and feels lovely
Yes, I recommend this
I bought this top to wear on smart/casual occasions with jeans and it is really lovely. It is quite a heavy knit so drapes well. The button holes are extremely tight, so after opening the top two buttons I decided not to bother with any more and put the top on over my head! It looks and feels lovely.

Lovely top, poor packaging
Yes, I recommend this
This is a lovely top for spring/summer. It’s quite a stretchy material, and being viscose mix, hopefully will not “rub up” like other knitwear I have had recently from M&S. I am a size 8/10 in tops, and it’s a neat fit. I have dropped a star because the buttonholes are very tight, making the buttons difficult to do up. Also, because it had a mark on the front band, which fortunately I managed to sponge off. I didn’t want to return and order another, as I got a 20% discount which I would have lost. I get that M&S are trying to reduce plastic packaging, but handling unwrapped items is likely to lead to dirty marks on light coloured garments.
