Teddy Jacket

I was after a cream jacket to go with the M&S Putty colored cowboy boots I bought a couple of months ago. I did buy another brand in a Biker Jacket style and it just didn't look right on me. This jacket is gorgeous. It is so soft you could just cuddly up to it all night. The style is good. Short enough to be a jacket, but not too short. It goes with trousers, jeans, skirts and dresses. It is perfect for my shape [slightly apple], but would suit any other body shape. I've waited so long for a jacket like this that I am tempted to get the other colour too. I am inbetween sizes, so I went a size down and it is perfect for me. The style is to wear it large. But if you prefer a closer fit, do the same thing as we usually do with biker styles and go a size down because there will still be enough room to fasten it if needed.

I absolutely love this jacket. The light khaki is a gorgeous colour. I thought it might make me look chunky but it doesn’t and after reading the reviews I ordered a size 12 instead of my normal 14 and it’s a perfect fit. Well done M&S!

nice jacket. but to short for me. pockets to high would be better on with slanted pockets. didnt sit well on hips-stuck out at back.but i am smaller on hips than bust. had to return

Very soft and warm material. Fits a little big but looks better slightly oversized. Really good pockets

This Teddy Jacket is fabulous - love it. Lovely and soft and a perfect length. I bought the cream jacket in a size 8 (always size down with M&S). Will look great with jeans, trousers and skirts. Really soft fabric, well made, great length, love the big buttons and pockets. Can't wait to wear it. Have been looking at Teddy coats but they feel too bulky for me at 5'4" so this short version is perfect. Great price and even better as I managed to get it with 20% discount. Well done M&S.

The collar seemed to stick out and did not fit with the jacket. Loved the colour and quality but collar stuck up

Lovely warm jacket, had to have the sleeves taken up by 4 inches (problem when items made as a one stop fit) not all women are the same size. I struggle with all long sleeve items from M&S and usually go for 3/4 sleeve which fit perfectly.

I love this jacket! It is very warm and just right for coolish spring days. I agree that it does come up quite big so I would certainly go down one size - which I didn't and had to change it. It's quite short on me (5'7") but I like this as it feels slightly like a bomber jacket. It feels quite luxurious and looks equally good over jeans or smarter trousers.

I love the teddy coats but worry they will make me look huge. However, this works well as it is quite short and the shape flattering. I love it - can't wait to wear it but all this rain brings out the mac instead. I think it is an excellent price for a quality jacket. Highly recommended.

This coat is a roomy size 12 and I would probably have liked it be be slightly more fitting. However it is cosy and has an expensive feel about it. So much nicer than some of the cheaper 'teddy' coats seen on the High Street. I love it!

Not for me. I loved the idea of this but it just didn't work for me. Slightly more fitted would have been better. I had already dropped a size from 14 to 12 after reading other reviews, but it was still huge. Maybe on a taller person it would have looked better, but it just swamped me and did me no favours. The colour was good, a nice kinky cream, and it felt very warm, but was too short which spoilt the look.

After reading the reviews on line I ordered a size down but it was too small and a really strange fit. I am small framed and I think these teddy coats don’t suit me as I’ve tried several others. Had to return unfortunately.
