Terrex Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX Walking Shoes

Bought these for work use as my Trialmaker 2 had worn out. I won’t be buying the Skychaser’s again due to being far too narrow and hard on the sole.

Great walking shoe, very stylish and comfortable. Although I went up half a size. Good price in the sale.

I really wanted to like this shoe. They are robust with great combination of structure, support and padding. Unfortunately, both the 11.5 and 12 were tight in the toe box. I’ve never had this issue before and it would’ve said my feet run regular to narrow.

Look the part and are the part. Robust construction supportive of instep and ankle joints without any rubbing. Goretex dry security! Win win win.

After 8 months of moderate use at best, most of the seams between the body and sole have separated. See pics. Thus, the shoes are no longer waterproof. It also seems like the main outer shell has also lost its water repellant properties. Do not buy these if you're looking for waterproof shoes.

Got size 9 but ok as I am a size 8.5 which worked out great, apart from this it is a very good shoe
