Bought in online sale, at an exceptionally good price, in my usual size 12. However. as I’m 5’2” I got regular length so that they wouldn’t be ankle grazers but a perfect length. Kept the ecru; returned the soft green as I wasn’t sure about the colour. Haven’t worn yet so can’t comment on how they will wash which is why I’ve not given the full 5 stars.

Perfect trousers, fit well, don’t crease, heavy material makes them look more expensive than they are. I’m 5:6 and the long length go to my ankle, short length are 3/4 and I haven’t bought a regular length pair (as yet).

As a traditional customer, these trousers are the quality, style and fit that I would expect from M & S. Depending on style, I am between size 12 and 14. The size 12 fits perfectly. More like this please.

strange sizes

The sizes seem to be in-between sizes, and neither the 16 nor the 14 were suitable. When checked on top of each other at the store, both sizes were the same width round the waist. When tried on, 16 was too big and 14 was more like a 12
