Best for waterproof mascara

Anyone that says this does not remove mascara isn't doing it correctly. I wear stubborn waterproof mascara and this removes every bit of it. Use one pump of remover, touch your fingers together to distribute evenly and gently massage on your eyelashes (eyes closed) for about 15 seconds. Use a warm washcloth or wet cotton pads to wipe off the remover and it does literally TAKE IT AWAY. I've been using this product for 30 years. Proper technique is the key.

Too much fragrance

I'm really not a big fan of this product. It's Okay at taking off make up, except for mascara. It leaves a lot of mascara residue and you end up with racoon eyes. However, the thing I really dislike is the overwhelming amount of fragrance. I'm not a fragrance hater. I would prefer no fragrance, but am not totally adverse to any. This fragrance is way too much, especially around the eyes. It makes using this product, unpleasant. I wish Estee Lauder would lighten up on the fragrance in a lot of the products, but this one is the worst one so far. I would not recommend this.

No, I don't recommend this
The lotion feels nice and smells good when I use it, but it leaves my skin feeling sticky and doesn't even take off my Estée Lauder mascara. Double cleansing is a must with this product so it doesn't really add value compared to a basic oil or cream that can break up makeup a little bit. I do like that the packaging is #2 plastic so I can recycle it easily. Not happy that the Estée Lauder site didn't recognize my order number when I tried to initiate a return for this product.

Yes, they did it again. Another great product from Estee Lauder. Love the way it removed my mascara. And I wear a ton of mascara and eyeliner!! I received it in a "free gift" when I bought a certain amount of product. I'm hooked!!

I live in a humid climate and I have a tendency toward oily areas so I only wear waterproof and longwear products. This make-up remover is the first one I've found that quickly and easily removes my waterproof mascara without having to rub or let it sit on my eyes to melt it off. It does Not leave an oily residue that leaves my vision weird for an hour!!! I Love This!!! I only wish I could also get it in a travel size so I don't have to carry the big bottle with me. Thank you Estee Lauder!!!

I love this product for breaking through tough-to-remove longwear makeup, fast! I use this product prior to the Perfectly Clean cleanser. Applying to my dry face and massaging, I'm able to rinse, use the foaming cleanser to get a fresh, clean surface for applying my nighttime products. It's gentle enough to use daily and doesn't dry out my face (I have dry/combination skin). It even removes my non-waterproiof mascara and eyeliner easily (I don't use waterproof mascara so can't speak to it's efficacy on that). The light fragrance isn't overpowering. I'm allergy-sensitive to several products on the market, but EL has given me everything I could ask for in this remover! Highly recommended!

What happened to the original take it away make remover, which cost considerably less than this and was great. It was excellent for removing eye makeup, this is not. Seems Estee lauder does this regularly, discontinues reliable products and replaces with more expensive products that are not as good. Pls bring back the liquid Take it away product.

I like this product very much because I can remove it with a tissue, I don't have to use water. However, it's difficult to get all of the product out of the bottle. I'd prefer a squeeze tube.

I have used Estee Lauder products for about 40 years but I am very dissappointed with this cleanser, Did not remove futurist foundation, ended up with make on my towel so had to cleanse three times before I felt my face was clean. I usually do a double cleanse. I will be going back to my oil cleanser next time.

I LOVE this cleanser. The only downside is, it's difficult to get all of the product out when it's close to the bottom of the bottle. A squeeze bottle would make this product a 5 star plus for me.

This is not my first purchase of this product. It does a great job removing make-up, and if you are too tired to wash it off using Take It Away, you can just wipe the make-up off with a tissue. Great product!
