I always buy a thick material trousers every year from M&S. It never disappoints. I have brought something similar for the past couple of years, this time, the waist band is tighter by the button tab

Sizing off
No, I don't recommend this
Trousers are a good quality material and hang well. However, there seems to be a big problem with M & S sizes at the moment. I have always bought trousers from here in a 14 or 16. These trousers in a 16 are far too small on the waist. I measured against a similar pair from a couple of years ago and they are 2 inches smaller on the waist. They fit everywhere else. You would need to size up for these to fit. Sizing very off at M & S recently which is a shame.

Really good quality trousers. The fit on them is perfect, with the ability to tighten the waist. The extra long length is great for tall women, I’m 5’10 and they’re perfect with a heeled boot.

Great adjustable work trousers
Great work trousers. I’m usually a 8/10 and I brought a size 10 and adjust the buttons at the side. This means I can wear them all day and they are really comfortable. The length is great I can wear with a chunky trainer or a small heel - I’m 5ft 4.

I bought the crepe back tab wide leg trousers in different colours last year and loved the quality and shape. These 2026 ones with the side flaps are not the same material and a bit wider and more flappy than tailored in my opinion.

Lovely wide leg trouser
Hang beautifully sized up I am 5ft 2 normally wear a 10 but sized up to 12 and bought the short . They have an adjustable button side adjuster which worked well for the in between sizing

I really like the shape and style of these trousers. The fabric is nice and substantial, with a little weight to it, but they are still comfortable to wear. If I were to make one small suggestion, I would prefer the legs to be slightly narrower. This would make them even more versatile, as they could be dressed up for a smarter look or worn casually. Gorgeous trousers not right shape for me

Love these but too tight on waist - am usually size 12 but put few pounds on recently and think my waist is large in relation to my hips as my general size anyway even when I was my usual weight. High waisted styles are probably not right for my shape and it’s a shame as they are such lovely trousers. Sadly need return them. Elastic waist would be ideal for me but these are tailored so would alter shape.
